Laying dream jewel in the first |

By:
Ok let it die!
By:
Give it up GT

i thought this thread was going to fall off the bottom, lol, wonder what odds you could have got on that a few weeks back??
unlucky GT, |

Hello 200,
Well done for the excellent results you achieved for your trial. Now you are playing for real and the racing is a bit drab today apart from Stratford, have you managed to find two lays for today. Not expecting you to reveal details but just wondered |
By:
yes mate, two lays in the same two races that you picked on the dazzler thread!! not the same tho..
two ways of looking at it really, true not a great deal of choice especially when i dont consider AW, but then on the other hand, its nice to not have such a selection headache you sometimes get.. good luck today mate. |
By:
Do you mind if I ask 200, are you laying for the same amount you were paper trading with....500 quid?
By:
i dont mind you asking GT, i can say its not the 500, but is a decent amount, one i would not be able to afford anyway, for the liabilty.. a very generous deal !!
It wouldnt bother me personally saying the amount, but its not my money so wont say.. if FS ever says to the contary that he deosnt mind anyone knowing then fine.. but im remain discreet till then :) hope you didnt get burned too much on that lay mate ??? |
By:
I generally avoid the AW, though i did have one possible one in the first race at Lingfield today, and of course that's just got beat! Apart from that I had 3 possible at stratford but one was in a race with only 5 runners leaving the two selections I put up. Whereas Saturday i had 8 to choose from which started to do my nut in! Thansk for the inspiration by the way 200, I am doing my one month trial to prove to myself what can be done (hopefully!) with a little discipline.
GL with yours today |
By:
cool...glad to hear you can have a decent wager anyway.
I lost more than I should have but it's another lesson learned! |
By:
I must say the same thing...after cheltenham I will also be trialing a discipline-enhancing one month 2 a day laying system ;-)
By:
no problem powers, hope it works out for you.. 8 runners or more is a must for me, even though i check all results now, including AW and despite positive results with races i decare unsuitable,(7 or less runners) i will continue to do what im doing..
By:
great GT, again i hope it does well.. quite of few did doubt the 2 a day system, so its nice to see a few maybe thinking about it..
but even more impressive is one a day, id be 100% if that was the case, lol |
By:
nice one powers, both ok there :)
By:
cheers 200, glad to hear yours got beat too
By:
Once again I battle in the trenches....had mujinda in the last.
5 quid at 90....normally I do 10 but I'm not complaining ;-) |
By:
My racing lay today is Mr Chocolate Drop 5.10 Southwell. I laid @ 3.85, but it's on the drift and is now 4.8
By:
To war again my friends!
I have layed garlogs in the first as my first bet...at least if this one wins he isn't going to make me hurt like that biatch yesterday coming from the death! |
By:
afternoon chaps,
if i had any spare cash, id lay SPARE CASH in the 2.30 Exeter.. @ 3.8 ish not one of my 2 main lays as it doesnt qualify, i just cant see nevada royale losing, as long as it stays on its feet it will win.. hope you get off to a better start GT. :) |
By:
No fear 200, I have you as my inspiration!
I agree with Mr chocolate drop by the way....revenge for when i layed him before and he won! Reckon I have 2 good main lays for today... |
By:
Would it not be more prudent to back Nevada Royal then?
By:
hi faceman, its just that im a layer and on the very few occassions i have mentioned a horse to back, they didnt , lol.. so thats why a lay, plus if it does fall, a back would lose, but by laying "spare cash" i still have more runners in my favour..
its just a small mention , cheers :) |
By:
Today will be a good day...I can feel it.
All lays today will lose accordingly. |
By:
cheers 200.
All the very best of luck with your new venture. |
By:
I think i'll just keep to my 2 main lays from now on!
By:
did ya bother with spare cash GT??
By:
I didn't actually....have had 2 bloody winners so far today.
Only down a small bit though after some nifty fighting! From now on...2 main lays and for 'wages', far reduced stakes.... How are ya doing so far? |
By:
2/2 :)
By:
It's me against Lordsridge...bring it on!
By:
Well done, 200...What is that now?
Im 2 out of 2 also and have clawed by the wages too... |
By:
Ha ha why is it every time I post a lay it wins!
Really didn't think he was going to win ;-( |
By:
its 13/14 since going live GT.. 12 on trot, i had a winner on day 1, + 6.2 points.. ( i was - 4.2 pts at this stage on the challenge )
still in the vulnerable stage, will be nice to get march out of way then kick on !!! :) |
By:
Good man...that's what I like to see...success,
If you believe it strongly enough..you shall have it (I'm trying to ram that message home too!) |
By:
Can't believe i layed another bloody winner....I even had a good feeling about today!
Get Chelters out of the way and it's 2 a day the 200 way ;-) |
