roger, id be quite interested to see your results to be hoesnt, it has been something that crossed my mind, but then they may run like sacks of spuds and never get to the price, so no lay, or get to the price you ask, which in turn would mean they are running quite well, so increases the chance of actually winning, but i know ive had quite a few that prices went thinner in running and didnt win, so yeah just put them up and lets see, the challenge finishes a week today, so theres a week to look at, cheers |

no problem with your comments golf, ive had criticism on a few of my selections up to now, because of various criteria, but it falls under what i do so i go with it, i dont know any of mine will lose 100% of the time, so if i was to be too cautious id leave them all out!!

my last post may have not made too much sense, what i mean is out of my challenge, ive had people question several due to the trainer, its been a steamer (gamble), etc, i have my own set of rules, which im sure others wont do and perhaps the pro layers would leave alone cos of their rules, but im a bit unorthadox, it may win, but i have faith if i go with all qualifying ones, ill be ok,

but you are being very cheeky regarding my backing ability!!!!!!! ;) Those selections were all lays but due to the lack of testing and the prices, i put em as backs cos didnt want anyone to follow them and be expensive as one winner would be, so said to lay off for stake, they all lost, they didnt win any money but importantly they didnt lose any money, so i can quite confidently say anyone who has followed everything ive put on here since i started posting would be showing a profit, lol, :p but anyway, i always stiplulate my selections on here are for illustration purposes only,ha, ive only got 7 more days and i wont ever use the forums ever again, so thought id chuck this one in, cheers mate, keep up good work with your selections, :) |

id much prefer no one lays em to be honest mate, coz id say most would maybe do the odd day here and there, thats when a "winner" would be more expensive, ive had one person moan because he layed one and it won at 9/1, but he didnt say, oh but ive layed the 26 others that lost so im still well up, thankyou!! lol you either have to follow every section or be really lucky and pick odd days to follow and hope you havnt picked one of the 3 out od 22 days that produced a winner, :) |

yeah me too punter, thats what matters,
i shall not lie when i say im really finding this challenge tedious now because it hasnt made me one single penny and could end up being all in vain, as im not getting any feed back whatsoever and just putting faith that good things will come of it.. but obviously the same goes that there has been no suggestion the challenge isnt going in the right direction and i will get a call and hopefully go from there.. i dont think i can lose in the long run if i finish the challenge proving i can show a profit which i think plenty of people believed i couldnt do, because i will either get what the challenge was intended for, which would be superb, but i will still be left with something that is good and i can concentrate on getting it off the ground myself, cheers :) |

does one point = 1 with yours ?? so you are laying to a liablity of 1,000 each race . 18/19 is very good going, i was only on 17 after the first 19 of the challenge, i am to work out what mine would be to a set liability too once its over, see what looks to be most profitable, its just you hear bad things about fixed liablity, but i quite like the idea of it, if you can obtain a reasonable strike rate with the shorter odds lays it can build up quite nicely. but they argue that shorter priced are more likely to win which mathmaticians say is why it doesnt make mathematical sense, |

200, why don't you fund yourself then? I know your doing this for Foots, but you could still make something for yourself along the way - starting with 100 quid you'd be nearly at 2k by now. Make hay while the sun shines why not :) |

200, first of all very well done on your challenge!
I was wondering though, forgetting your challenge for a minute and left to your own devices and with your own bank, what would your optimum number of bets average at per day? 1,2, 8 a day?? cheers |

100 quid would be 2k now , but i would have needed a bank to have the intiail liablity, i think i would have needed at least a grand, my average lay being 8.6, then a little more to cushion the 2 early-ish winners, i just havnt got that money, i made the choice to do this challenge knowing it wasnt earning me anything initially, so yeah i use the word tedious, but in the sense to most people they are more than likely fed up with it as no money is going on, i feel a bit like a kid playing a meaningless game, every one else are putting real money down and im not.. So i personally am happy with the way its gone, would of preferred naturally to have a few quid from it as when i say im skint, i really mean in the kind i havnt a bean, i just think next friday cant come quick enough, i shall find out if any thing will come of this, hopefully it will, but if not, i can then concentrate on other avenues, one of them will be to do a medical trial, that pays approx 3k, i will then hopefully be able to grow steadily from that into something good, cheers :) |
