Private Piles...if you've sussed it and would care to share my addy's rikersoft@gmail.com.
If you're lips are sealed then you're one of the fortunate few who can spot this right off the bat. Alas, the majority still struggling to see how to mitigate Bets 1 and 2 both losing (Bet 3). therein lies the trick! |

Bets one and two can't both lose otherwise you would simply do bet three and forget the other two.
Scenario 1: Bet one wins and you win about £10 from a £100 investment. Scenario 2: Bet one loses but the odds have changed sufficiently elsewhere to allow you to secure a small win from the residual from bet two by implementing bet three. You secure your stake from bet one and make between £1 and £5 profit. It doesn't work for every instance of these bets and there are a number of variants depending on the initial odds. Once enough people know about it, there is a kind of inverse system that will come into play for a while. I suspect that the markets are being distorted by the search. |

alun2005 27 Nov 10:29 YOUNG SLICER : Can you let us know you're OK out there? was assumedly referring to that, thought about posting something similar this morning, but decided it might be taken as taking the** if slicer doesn't really live there; horrible scenes :( |

hello mr slicer!
congratulations for finding a system with profit all the time! all your work and your risk are paying back now! for sure, everybody is looking for that :-) so i have a question for u! im nearly sure about that u do! maybe its a really simple system created by u, but the point is, to find it out... i tested it yesterday and it works... i had the 2 possibilities, one with no third bett necessary, and the second one needed a third bet... so i ask u: am i right, that this 2 games are absolutely possible to play today (i will never make it public what u do) kaiserslautern-aachen for variante 1! kayserispor-trabzonspor for the second type of this system... am i right?? both games are possible to play... arent they? |

A couple of points.
Firstly, Slicer is not going to give away something that will reveal what he does. Secondly, he may not be telling you the whole story. This is not a trivial problem. If it was, this thread would have sunk a long time ago and the edge would have disappeared. I came here to find characters for a book I'm writing and that's been a useful exercise. I didn't realise there was a maths problem to solve, but once it was presented I just had to address it. It provided a much better plot. There are a few ways to make a profit, but I don't know if the cadences will change when you use real money instead of ninepences. The odd thing is that having found it, I'm not sure I'm going to spend a lot of time trying to profit from it. Is there something else I can do with my life than spend up to 105 minutes (plus IT) following the dynamics of the betting market of a Turkish Soccer match? There probably is. The book I am writing will hit the market next year and will contain the solution, although the way I have written it means that it is a quest and not a simple solution to a maths problem. I gave up writing academic treatises a long time ago. |

That's the key point about a gambler's character ...
... they don't care. |

I think whichever way you look at it, reviewing Slicer's original posts about giving lots of clues during the Euro's and hoping we could solve it now looks a bit daft. There was clearly no way then (and perhaps not now) that anyone could work it out from cold (and really it was never his intention that they could).
I still believe there is a method though I'd be surprised if it required the number crunching, mathematically-based approach Whelk has brought to the problem. Indeed, in an earlier post Slicer suggested he couldn't check odds retrospectively but was going on the scores and patterns observed while Laying scores. He has also implied it's quite simple once seen. It's also interesting that some folk MAY be able to spot a method like this very quickly (if indeed theirs is the same method) while others continue to be defeated. Either way, the search continues and is eliminating possibilities as it goes. |
|
By:
The answer is simple. Finding it is the tricky bit. Someone who gambles a lot might well spot the pattern. I needed a spreadsheet.
You have to observe the dynamics of the match and it's reasonably easy to record them to view later. Your observations are problematic because you obviously cannot guarantee scorelines in advance. |
|
By:
Maths isn't just about numbers, it is about patterns.
If you are looking for a method like lay 0-0 HT and back 0-0 CS at kick off, then lay 0-0 CS at half time you will be disappointed. These occasionally work, but you cannot predict them. What I can tell you is that the method(s) is not such a big secret judging by the queues. |

ninja that can work....back them both if an early goal you can trade out of your 1-1 bet with a small profit and take a loss with 0-0
but if no goal for twenty mins or so trade out on your 0-0, then hope for a goal to trade on your 1-1, for the double whammy |

Yo will find that after 1 goal 1-1 usaully drops marginally if at all as odds are already low ,so you would lose your 0-0.
the unders /overs does that work ?guess not as you wouldn't post it would you? |
