...and if you're using the international exchange, so are you.

1. The Betfair Premium charge discriminates for holders of accounts in currency different than GBP. Ok, they said nothing can be done, so we can keep rolling.

2. Over the last 3 days, there have been 7+ different outages for the international exchange ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour(yesterday during the PL games).
They seem to affect only a small number of people.
Unlucky me, I've always been in that "few clients", as per BF announcements.
Actually, I've been one of those "few" every single time for the last 6 years.
Now, those "few" finally have a label, "Those dirty foreigners" using the Malta exchange server.
When Betfair announced that they are moving all international customers outside the UK, I never assumed that this meant we're no longer entitled to receiving equal access and customer rights as UK clients.
This is the first time I'm going to say this, and it would hopefully be the last, but if there is one thing that could turn me off using the Betfair website, it's unreliability.

In the last 72 hours:

- Inability to login, it's an "internal login error" if you try to use BF login video. Main site simply doesn't process the login frame.
- Internal error on submitting bets.
- "We're experincing technical difficulties" on submitting bets.
- "....technical difficulties" on loading the main page.
- The "Loading markets" bug(that is **ING OBVIOUSLY A CACHING ISSUE, BUT HEY, IT CAN'T BE FIXED, SO KEEP CLEARING YOUR COOKIES)

I accept that I'm guilty for all of those, I wasn't born in the UK, I guess.

PS: You'll NEVER**the issue with multiple stake boxes in the Place Bets tab, would you?

What is the architecture with this international exchange server? What operations go through it for non-UK customers? How does this fit in with the first-in first-out betting queues?

It's still not working. I get the message "You do not have any bets on this market", on markets where I do have current bets. (According to "My Account".)
This system seems very unreliable. Good thing it isn't handling real money.... Wait, that's bad!!

There we go. Internal Error on submitting bets. P/L Display on markets gone. NO idea what your position actually is.

OK, clearing my temporary internet files and my cookies actually made my current bets re-appear in my markets. Fantastic!
Thanks for the hint above in the thread.

As another 2nd rate customer I wholeheartedly agree.
It's the unreliability that really gets me. You never know when you will be prevented from executing your next wager or cancellation. Extremely dangerous, especially in-running. It just puts me off getting involved in any match or race completely.

Signing in. Zeeny said it all so I've got nothing to add , maybe except that this North Korean standard International exchange server just give you one more incentive to go purple. The purple thought looks better and better in my eys for every weeks that passes , for the first time I'm actually seariosly thinking about it.

Yup - experiencing all of the above again today, plus site freezing periodically for five minutes or so at a time. Happens with IE and Firefox so it's not a browser issue.

Hi Eddie - I'm probably going purple too. This happens too often. And besides, it looks like a nice site :-) If enough of us do it, the liquidity will be similar or even better over there.

It's a joke Betfair.
I understand you get greedy year by year, but at least provide us the service you used to give many years ago.... this is the minimum you HAVE TO provide us with and a lot more if you want to be called ***FAIR.
