It was a long grind but got to 1950 in the end, 50pts from 2000, if I reached that I'd knock this Rapid chess on the head, like watching paint dry waiting for players to move, how people play classical chess sitting there over a table for 3, 4, 5 hours at a time I'll never know. Kind Regards.

another banned player this morning, that's 6 in total, there was another one but I won that game after he abandoned it, lost 4 straight games this morning, only second time I've lost more than 3 in a row, then I realised what was differnt, had no music playing in my earphones

Started off talking about sandbagging, then moved on to how I was handpicking new accounts which a) is impossible and b) is the last thing you'd want to do, and now says if if I don't do puzzles 'I'm suspicious'

Turn it in you absolute mug, you've played nearly 8000 Rapid games in 6 years, your puzzles are getting you nowhere for a reason, they are useless, you do not learn anything or get the same positions in your own games from them. It's a feature for chess.com to rake in money from subs and ad revenue. Incidentally, AI also says 1950 player for 5 min puzzle rush, 'ranges between 30 and 40'. So I would also be impressed by anyone under 2000 getting over 40.

There is no meteoric rise either, I've been playing for years as a guest mostly, only made this account to play some of you on here. My original account is for personal use, friends, family, not wallys on the internet like you to stalk me.

You need to learn to analyse your games, you are still at beginner level which is ridiculous, press the analysis button after games and click through the moves, the engine tells you what the best move was, you then try to understand why it was, that's how you learn.

Anymore of this nonsense and you'll be back on the block button for the next 8 years.

I’m not bothered about improving. I’m happy enough being down the bottom end. When you’re playing players of the same quality as you it’s still a battle.

When I first started playing I looked up opening moves on YouTube. I found the Fried Liver Attack and that’s been my opening ever since. Never made an opening move that wasn’t king pawn forward two spaces! It’s a frustrating game at times and you can see why it sent some players mad.

I probably need to look up how to respond to a few opening moves. I’m in trouble sometimes after three moves. Responded exactly as they wanted and got stuffed!

Basically, Mes, I’m happy enough being useless. So long as you’re playing other useless people it’s still a decent game.

Just beat a 2000 who tried playing the Stafford Gambit against me, at least he was 2000 when the game starts, his peak rating was nearly 2200.

Trying to get from 1950-2000 is hard, but doable.
