match abandoned ?? saw at least 4 hearts players being physically attacked by animals that ran onto the pitch
must be serious repercussions |

When Celtic really ramped up the pressure around the 75 minute mark Hearts couldn't cope and you could see a goal was coming.
|
|
By:
Hearts tired and the goal was inevitable Celtic always find a way
and given the turmoil earlier in season they have to be applauded on the way they have finished the season off - unlucky Hearts as they came so close |
|

Not been watching. If that link posted is correct, who was supposedly playing him onside?
|
|
By:
Ball was passed to the left and crossed he scored but was 2nd phase bull s h i te so deemed not interfering

Fantastic stuff. Hard to believe people can be so demented that they think there was anything wrong with those decisions. Poor McInnes, no singing anti Catholic songs for him tonight. Best team always wins the league.

Not this time though Hearts gave been head and shoulders against the irish all season...

didn't this year |

Celtic basically played the handicap in this league by chucking a load of games under Nancy when desmond had his meltdown.
MON has done some job getting them over the line. No brainer to give him another year or 2 |
|
By:
Will Nancy get a medal?

Well played Hearts, big thing now is to believe
and push on next season. And well played celtic too. |

When a horse leads all the way and gets beaten on the line does that mean it was still the best horse and the winner didn't deserve it?
|
|
By:
Hearts didn't deserve to win it. We had it in our own hands at times and never took it.
If ever there was a manager I would want to be pipped for a title by though it would probably be Martin O'Neil. He comes across as a class act and very good at what he does. That was farce at the end though. Not that it would have made any difference but the game was effectively ended because of a pitch invasion. |

Hearts had 750 tickets in a 60,000 stadium

Will be interestng to see if there is any response MJK by the SFA.
One would think a match being stopped early due to a pitch invasion would be a big priority. |
|
By:
in the nfl they would be going back out there to finish
a la cleveland bottlegate |

enjoy your night, lads

Credit to Hearts but they ran out of steam, you always thought the breakthrough would come, the introduction of Iheanacho changed the game, class, class footballer.
|
|
By:
You desrved the win Malay. We didn't do enough when we hand our chances throughout the season.
However your fans are feral and it will be interesting to see what the SFA do about them given they stopped a game because of a pitch invasion. Don't think I've ever seen the before. |
|

I remember it happening once, last day of season in 1983- Derby v Fulham

Shrewd a big fine I'd say for Celtic. In fairness the fans in the stand didnt want this at all and let those on the pitch know. I do think though that the bitterness from everywhere before and after the game, mostly from people who dont support either side, was ridiculous. Amazing how many people who'd never watch that 'farmers league' were so involved this week. I haven't seen many poorer Celtic squads in my years watching them which will no doubt make it harder to take for Hearts. Have to mention Motherwell on their fourth place finish. The best team to watch this season imop.

Pitch invasion disgrace shrewd, obviously didn’t affect result but this garbage is happening regularly not just Celtic, definitely action must be taken by the authorities.
Big fine for clubs and players are fined or suspended if they are catalyst for pitch invasion. It’s a shame in many ways players can’t go to their fans to celebrate but we don’t want to go back to metal fences. Obviously Celtic have problems with certain elements of their support and my view may initiate further problems but I think anybody who can be identified should have season ticket taken and barred. Only way to stop it. |

By:
Just to confirm the ref reported he had blown the final whistle. It wasn't abandoned.
|
|
By:
I thought they had to kick off after the goal before he could blow final whistle.i could be wrong though.
|
|
By:
Why would they kick off again if time had expired ? No time left game finished surely. It’s really getting beyond a joke this hearts stuff, grow up you had a good season. You lost deal with it.
|
|
By:
If hearts fans or players, management team never heard final whistle it may have been down to celebrating Celtic fans, trying to come out with this is making yourselves absolutely idiots.
|
|
By:
It should be mentioned that it was only close because the Board gave the manager's job
to a naieve novice. |

|
By:
I think it should be mentioned the referee didnt blow the whistle on the pitch, under sfa law when a game isnt finished because of a pitch invasion the game is to be awarded to the team who suffered the indiscretion with a score of 3-0.This wont happen though as its Celtic we are talking about.

The outrage on social media from those who always claim they have no interest in the SPL is a joy to behold. Almost as funny as the Hibees celebrating at Easter Rd when they hear Celtic have scored.
