29 goals & 19 assists = Not Good enough LOL
The whole team is playing garbage and you could name at least 5 or more who are far more to blame than Mo. They removed him and they are even worse ffs Its an absolute no brainer to sack Slot. Sack hima nd they will 100% get a bounce and may get a CL spot. Hold on like Utd do and they will start a downward spiral |

All of the supporting actors for 29 + 19 are gone and they haven't even tried to replace those players with like (Nunez, Diaz, Trent). Everything they did in the transfer market indicates a change in system with the attack focused on the centre (Isak) and possibly wing-backs (Kerkez, Frimpong). Missed out on Guehi and Leoni got injured so can't play it. Slot even made reference to not having a Jacob Murphy type on the right (to provide Isak assists). Why would you pay top dollar for Isak to play him as a false 9 for Salah?
Decent chance they hoodwinked him into signing just to get a fee from the Saudis, who will pay it. Hence the comments about assurances which have been reneged upon. Edwards likely behind it. Slot was hired as 'head coach' which was a shift from 'manager' and he likely has a lot more input into footballing matters than he did under Klopp who was 'manager'. |

I heard the Jacob Murphy thing. Really weird.
Not just because why do we keep getting linked to underwhelming Newcastle winger. But we had Ben Doak on our books. A young, proper winger who goes outside to the byline and swings the ball in. And we sold him. |

world of difference between restec and dropped,Salah has been rested before but its obvious he,s been told by so meone in coaching set up that he hasn't been rested but dropped because they think they,ll be a better team without him in 3 games they thought they,d win in a canter,Salah wou, ldnt have been dropped last week if l,pool were playing city,UTD and arsenal , because if they didn't gety results slott would copped the flack

they will travel today to italy, anyone know if he is in the squad?

By:
make him travel and sit him on the bench

Did he actually mention Murphy?!?!?
WTAF!? Thats nuts. Slot surely wants the sack ffs. Nunez and Diaz fitted Liverpool much better thank Ekitike and Isak. The former for any faults worked hard and put a shift in. Salah rightly called out fans this season having a go at Nunez. The alarm bells were there with Slot. TAA and Diaz wanted out asap |
|
By:
Jacob Murphy is one of the best crossers of a ball since Beckham.
He's also defensively good, and very quick. Otherwise underwhelming is a fair description |

foreign journo,s on X saying he,s not travelling ,decision taken by l,pool board in conjunction with slott, UK journo,s saying no decision made as of yet, slott prezza from milam at 6 45 tonight

Listening to Liverpool supporters on a 5Live phone-in this morning. As an Everton supporter, it really made me chortle.
Most fans clinging to a Disney-story where Salah realises that Liverpool FC is more important to him than his career and family, apologises to Slot and both propel the team to the glory due to Liverpool because of their history and heritage yadda yadda. These are the facts: Liverpool can sell a player, they can't sell a manager. Slot should be preparing to apologise in public to Salah imho. |

Salah rightly called out fans this season having a go at Nunez.
RQ, You haven't got a handle on Salah's character at all, so he defended Nunez..... but remember back to the very same Nunez missing a pen against PSG and the rest of the team consoling him but Salah stood apart, clearly angry, most probably because he saw the Ballon D'or slip away. As for the "show some respect" quote to the fans as they drooled over the new signings in comparison to who was leaving, that would have been primarily driven by jealousy at the realizeation that he may no longer be the centre of the universe rather than loyalty to erstwhile compatriots. |

they can't play him, just whether they took him and benched or left at home, maybe they feels he's too disruptive, either way he is tied into a contract so the club have the power now
|
|
By:
The power to do what?
|
|
By:
They have the power but that is mitigated by the sheer disruptive influence that his remaining will have on the club, he's got to go as soon as possible and unlike other European clubs who will now see his value diminished and want to play hard ball, the Saudi's will still pay top dollar and that's where he'll end up in January, it's the only possible scenario that makes any sense.
|
|
By:
Not that any Euro club would want him at his age anyhow, but generlly speaking with a tarnished player.
|
|
By:
Are Liverpool fans turning on him like they did on Trent? Tsk tsk.

Long standing fans who understand the value of what it means to support the club may do but some of them might not like to turn on him because the nature of it is hurtful to the club.
Plastics who only care about winning trophies at all costs will likely side with him. |

Liv have lost the mantle of champions in a matter of weeks.
That summer transfer splash, when they acted like Real Madrid has come back to bite them on the backside. Now they appear to be losing their best player. Hard to see Arne Slot coming back from this. If he dont make the UCL for next season it will be for the best, probably, if he leaves. A poorly managed situation by all concerned at the club. |
|
By:
Funny thing is if Salah had gone in the Summer, every pundit in the game would've blamed it on his departure.

It's your keyboard that wants to use gobbling,
I think you need to type gobbing and add it to your list of words by clicking on it on the predicted text options on top of key board.(if you have that option) My new phone didn't carry forward my keyboard preferences so keeps changing words, annoyingly And as I often hit submit without reading what I've typed causes a few problems... We'll get there... |

Following Jamie Carragher's 2018 incident where he spat at a man's car (hitting his 14-year-old daughter) after a football match, fellow former player Joey Barton described the act as
"absolute madness" and stated Carragher should be sacked. |

Joey Barton strongly defended Jamie Carragher in early 2025 after Carragher's comments about the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), claiming Africa has never produced a better defender than Jamie Carragher, |
