Anderson is a promising player, but he could be a card magnet.

"he's roughly playing Plymouth Argyle to be fair..be a worry if you didn't look half decent... "   that's most England players prior to the Serbia game

indeed but you get massive amounts of time in CMF especially as the deeper ball player...

Think Anderson has been England's best player tonight and in Serbia myself.  He's relentless.  Absolutely everywhere.  Reminds me a bit of a more attacking Kante.

Geordie Maradona, have to say I didn't see him as a 6
at Newcastle, but he's a very talented lad, and obviously
a quick learner.

If Newcastle kept him it's likely he's on bench at newcastle
I really don't think he gets in ahead of Tonali.

Could have jigged it round and replaced joelinton, with
Bruno and Tonali as 8s.

Anderson plays at a tempo in central midfield that England haven't had for years.  He's always probing.  His chasing, harrying the opposition and recoveries are excellent, and he's always available as an outlet to pass to.

against a pub team , couldn't find Anderson with a NASA searchlight for one min out of 90 at St James Park a fortnight ago

Anderson playing 6 in a dominant England team allows that.

He was not great for forest at sjp when faced with
Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton.

His best parts were his forward runs that day too.

I'd play rice as a 6 in big games.

yep but against poor oppositions that largely sit off .. I quite like him but I think to this point he's over talked up..just an opinion.

You get the impression with 1st time poster than even if he'd just won 100 million on the lottery, he'd still complain that the balls didn't come out in the order he wanted Laugh
