Facile win.

Need to play some competitive games to find team.

Tuchel will find a team to beat most teams.

A very good result for England. The sidelining of a couple of "big-headed" prima donnas was a positive for the team; the newcomers acquitted themselves well.

Playoff Rankings if favourites finish top 2 ...

Pot 1
Italy
Turkey
Ukraine
Poland/Wales

Pot2
Wales/Poland
Czechia
Hungary
Slovakia/Scotland

Pot3
Scotland/Slovakia
Albania
Bosnia
Kosovo

Pot 4
Romania
Sweden
North Macedonia
Northern Ireland
*Moldova
*San Marino

Should Romania or Northern Ireland finish second, Bosnia or Slovakia would be eliminated and Moldova move into pot 4.

Incidentally, Wales decision to play England in a friendly as opposed to Poland's decision to play New Zealand in a friendly' may have pushed Poland ahead of Wales in FIFA's rankings and them into pot 1.

Pot 1 are at home to Pot 4 and Pot 2 at home to pot 3.  There doesn't seem to be much of a disadvantage being in pot 1 or pot 2 given pot 3 and 4 look of similar strength

As for Scotland they are borderline pot 2 or 3 with Slovakia.  This is very important.  Not only a clearly weaker opponent, but more importantly a home draw in the semi.  Should Wales or Ukraine not finish second, then Scotland would very likely move into in pot 2.  But should Serbia pip Albania, Serbia would be in pot 2 and Scotland would move down into pot 3

No.  I was entering a team for Fantasy Football and was reading the newspaper at the same time and noticed Clydebank had 29 official spectators.  I named my fantasy team CLYDEBANK 29.  Said team won the Fantasy Football competition at work so I kept it for future competitions.  When I had to enter a username on here it was the first thing that entered my head.  My grandfather was from Inverness, but both my parents were born in England.

A lot of great players came from Bankies, the magnificent Davie Cooper is one, I think they have a decent new club going, fans shafted by steedmans.

never thought much about what people's usernames are about, some odd ones on here, funniest one I saw was a few years ago on the golf forum, someone called 'she told me she was 18' FFSLaugh

World Cup qualifying returns this week and Scotland have a bit of a goalkeeping dilemma.  Clarke's choice in goal will be between Falkirk's Scott Bain - the 33-year-old who won the last of his three caps in San Marino in 2019, Liam Kelly - who has made one League Cup appearance for Rangers this term - and Craig Gordon, who will be 43 next month and has not played at all this season.  Billy Gilmour also missing for the Greek clash.

Czechia had a friendly against San Marino today.  I wonder if that was rankings driven?  Only managed a 1-0 win too!

How can England be 7.6 to win the World Cup?

Not a vintage crop of players by any means. Bayern have already dropped Kane for an important game but Tuchel dare not, so we have to hope the World Cup defenders haven't figured him out yet. Defensively, far from proven. Tactically, Tuchel is apt to go long, win the second ball, high press, play for set piece advantage yadda yadda:- tactics that have failed at top level for sixty years.
