I always remember the Irish fans chanting “Go home to your sexy wives” at the Swedish fans walking buy at the after match alfresco session.
Quite funny.

England deserved to be 2 goals down. They looked lethargic and played like grannies esp at the back; the repetitive back pass either to a colleague or keeper was so reminiscent of the men's team. On the contrary the Swedes were still keen to capitalise despite being 2 goals up.

England are coming home, I'm afraid.

Not surprised in the slightest.

The defence is shocking and always likely to be even more exposed against better sides. We don't appear to have any pace in the side at all. Midfield creating nothing and consequently, Russo getting no service. James looks exhausted just strolling about.

I doubt relying on huff and puff will be enough to get two goals back.

What position is Bronze supposed to be playing? It seems she can continually push forward leaving them short at the back.

All true,

The only thing of positive note is that Sweden have been working really hard. Will they tire?

shocking display by England. Must admitI got this one all wrong. Thought England would be ab;e to put pressure on sweden, but not troubled them at all, England defence badly organised and far too slow.

Jess Carter is having a torrid time on the left hand side; she was repeatedly outran by the Swedish right-winger. Also, James's been hardly in the game. She's not moving about looking for open positions; it takes her time to get going.

Russo is not getting the service she's craving. England needs to up-the-tempo to stand a chance of getting back in the game; a quick goal is needed to give England a chance.

Sweden 4 - 0 England to atone for their defeat in the last Euro.

Sweden No 4 knew  she's lucky to stay on the pitch. Mind you it makes a change for Wiegmann's thuggish tactics to be meted out to them instead.

Jess Carter has been woeful so far. She was on the wrong side again, and nearly cost England another goal.
