Spurs also invited members of Eze's family to the club as special guests at what I believe was the North London derby, if rumours are to be believed.

Jesus and Zinchenko were great buys fir Arsenal
I believe those players displayed the type of application and professionalism required if Arsenal want to be Champions. By and large many of the players now display that It is not the players fault Arsenal cannot win the league without a centre forward. |
|
By:
Eze would be fabulous at Arsenal as long as Arteta did not try and curb his flair.

|
By:
I did like Zinchenko, but from what I've seen he does run hot and cold

They are both surplus now. They did though bring about a change of mentality. Arsenal have missed out on two titles through lack of a professional footballer who can hit a cow in the backside with a banjo.
Liverpool will be better next season. City will be better next season Newcastle will probably be better,Villa probably will not be. Chelsea should be better even United and Totteringham might be better. Next season will be far tougher Not sure Arsenal will have what it takes ….. yet |
|
By:
Arsenal scored 88 and 91 goals the years they finished second to City. More than enough goals to win a title.
The first year the main reason they didn't win was the loss of Saliba (who returned the same summer Jesus and Zinch were signed and made much more of a difference to the team than both of them). The second year was down to City being City on top form and Arteta going for both CL and PL with a squad that didn't have enough depth to challenge on all fronts. They need a striker after last season but to say the lack of one cost them a title is nonsense, never mind two. Injuries were far more of a factor last season than the lack of a striker and the wide attackers are the main goalscorers in Arteta's system. |
|
By:
True about Saiiba but despite that Arsenal were so close. a goal scorer is inspirational and can win matches. One more win would have made it so much harder for City Arsenal lost over two legs to Newcastle last season and to Manchester United in the FA Cup.
Arsenal despite not playing well were in a good position until Christmas then the wheels came off. No centre forward without a doubt was the major contribution to finishing second in the previous two seasons and not being crowned as Champions. |
|
By:
If you have a central striker that takes chances then it has to
boost chances of picking up points. If it didn't then arsenal wouldn't need to try to sign one. It's a qed, innit |

arsenal arenot good enough to win the prem by a long chalk. they finished second last year and were off winning it by a mile.
scoring goals was not the issue as they scored plenty finishing only behind liverppol anc city by 15 and 3 respectivley. arsenaks problem is they lack mental strength to be winners. they drew 14 games last season all aginst teams in the top half of the table 8 of which were at home. that will not win u a prem. its not a striker they need its a winning mentality and the ability to finish games off. unrtil they get that its lay lay lay all the time in the outrights |
|
By:
2 years ago they went head to head with city after Liverpool chucked in the towel.
Last season arsenal chucked in the towel after some poor results. Maybe they will benefit next season as Liverpool did last season. Much depends on city, because if they turn up, they'll win. |

rsenal and Tottenham compete to sign Eberechi Eze, Spurs place £60m price tag on Cristian Romero, and Napoli and Juventus eye Manchester United's Jadon Sancho.
Arsenal will take on north London rivals Tottenham for the signing of Crystal Palace and England midfielder Eberechi Eze, 26, who is priced at £68m. (Sun), The Gunners are targeting Eze who would be a cheaper alternative to Real Madrid's Brazilian forward Rodrygo, 24. (Talksport, ) Tottenham value Argentina centre-back Cristian Romero, 27, at over £60m and are unwilling to sell him for a cut-price fee to Atletico Madrid. (Telegraph juventus are willing to pay Manchester United £25m for Jadon Sancho, 25, but cannot meet the £250,000 weekly wages of the England winger. (Metro), external Manchester United are exploring an ambitious move for Paris St-Germain and France midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, 19. (Teamtalk), Fulham have no interest in offloading 24-year-old Brazilian forward Rodrigo Muniz despite interest from Leeds. (Sky Sports) |

I agree Liverpool will be better but they need to be as you can't continue to be outplayed and win games in 30 minute bursts.
Liverpool, man city and arsenal are 3 very good teams and great to watch and id love ti see all 3 flat out over 38 games contesting the title. Any one of the 3 would likely be dominant if other 2 were not around, unlucky them, and lucky for viewers... |

Hopes rising for Gykores.
Sesko does not seem to appreciate Arsenal and see’s them as the next stepping stone, which, is fair enough. I would rather have Gykores now, proven and keen to be leading the side. 4-5 years is plenty enough time for the money. Lest we forget how much revenue is lost for not being in the Champions League. Plenty of teams snapping at Arsenal heels and Liverpool showing class in getting what they need and want for the future. Gykores, Eze and Zubimendi are what is required to mount a challenge to Liverpool and still it might not be enough. I don’t think Liverpool will be as lucky next season but Slot is building something. You don’t win a title by luck it does help |
