yeah but where does he fit in at arsenal ?
I do appreciate good banter, even against us. This one was picked off the comments following the Xavi Simons article. Deal not done yet, which makes it even funnier. |

Victor Lindelöf to Aston Villa, here we go! Medical underway right now approved by #AVFC.
The agreement is valid until June 2027 plus option until June 2028, higher proposal compared to Fiorentina/Everton. Lindelöf said yes and now set for medical. |

bargain...Palace turned town 60m last summer but sure most Palace fans would have been happy with FA Cup and European adventure...at the difference..

A deal has now been agreed between Chelsea and Bayern Munich for Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea have got the obligation element they wanted in the initial loan agreement. The loan fee has been negotiated up to £14.2m (€16.5m). The obligation to buy has been agreed at £56.2m (€65m), with the total package worth £70.5m. The move is subject to Chelsea board approval and completion of documents. (sky) |

Absolutely crazy that Jackson ended up at Bayern and Rashford at Barcelona.

Deal done for the Italian GK to join Man City project from Paris Saint-Germain. Medical this afternoon.
Long term deal agreed weeks ago and all done between the two clubs after Éderson signed for Fenerbahçe. |

Not a typical Pep goalkeeper. Is he going to rip up his tactics and start again?

|
By:
indeed...looking forward to seeing him playing out from the back -

Guehi would be free next summer and you'd have to think Liverpool would be at the front of the queue to sign him then. There is some value getting him a year earlier and maybe on a lower salary but not sure that's worth 35m in total.
|
|
By:
Liverpool very much in the now though for winning another Prem or CL...and he's a great addition to a slightly shaky looking defence..
good business for me but we shall see.. |
|
By:
I'm happy with Muani; short in that Dept and what we have are not really up to the task, or haven't been. No more coming me feels, but I'm content with the window. We only need 16th to improve

Most deadline days have been a real damp squid for years.
Highlights being Yeovil sign 18 year old Billy Nomark on a free from Colchester. This year is chaos. Dunno why its so busy when the window has been open for months. The scale of them and the money is crazy. |

Dele Alli has terminated his contract with Como, according to Sky in Italy.
Dele had originally signed on an 18-month contract in January. He only made a single appearance for the club since his arrival and was sent-off after just eight minutes on the field. |

sky saying Guehi deal off..

By:
Strange Guehi as sounds like deal sheet went through.
Loss for Liverpool, though if get him for free next season, may turn out ok. Maybe if you dont go shouting about a move these days you dont get it ![]() |

"Marc Guehi has seen his dream deadline day move to Liverpool collapse after Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner put his foot down and blocked the deal."
|
|
By:
very fair comment - the lad that goes about it all properly misses out..
Palace withdrew after they didn't get their own deal over the line. |
|
By:
Wow, I'm completely stunned.
Everyone at Palace thought it was a done deal. I'm actually quite sad for Guehi as he has been an absolutely devoted and magnificent player for us. I was thinking, good man, you crack on and show your talent on the biggest stage against the very best European sides, you deserve it and you done Palace proud. |
|
By:
Guehi seems to be the ultimate professional and a nice guy. No doubt he will put his head down and still give everything on the pitch for Palace for the rest of the season.
Hopefully he can get his move next summer |
|
By:
yes all very strange....maybe hell come in the january window, or a free next year
|
|
By:
He's good enough for Real Madrid imo. Could be a blessing in disguise missing out.
|
|
By:
Guehi will have a queue of foreign clubs come January. Barca, RM, PSG & Juve love an out of contract player
|
|
By:
^ spot on. I can't think of many defenders of his age who are better. Add in he is a total pro and you can see why Glasner loves him.
Glasner and him could end up at Bayern together next year. |
|
By:
There will be a queue for Glasner, no doubt about that.

|
By:
The Hammers scuppered that deal.
|
|
By:
Glasner prob eyeing up a bigger club, so not that bothered not getting a fee for Guehi as wont affect him.
Can see him getting a big move, wouldnt suprise me Man Utd if/when Amiron gets sacked. |

By:
Fofana turns down loan move for Celtic and chooses Charlton.
How big a slap in the face is that. |
|
By:
Still possible that owners overrule Glasner, Guehi leaves, Glasner goes to Leverkusen

Did Parish shaft Glasner last year when he wanted to go to Bayern as I remember?
Lovely to see some payback today ![]() |
