thought I'd do this again for the new season, attempting to predict all 380 Premier League match results and correct scores, along with some accas, using the same mug bookie odds to compare and contrast whilst making it more challenging. If not every match then as many as I can as may not be around all season, but should be for most at least.
Totals to beat from 22/23 seasons
Match Odds: +10.375pts
Correct Scores:+94.5pts
Accas: +30.84pts
expecting the same slow start as last time til I become accustomed to the the new new teams, managers, players etc.
will give the other 7 people on the forum something to look at whilst slobbering over the Racing Post of a Saturday morning
will post a pretty table in the updates to make it as clear and as easy to follow as possible
it's a tall order but I've beat the bookies before and can do it again

Correct Scores:+94.5pts 34 correct out 380 = 8.9% 4 was the most in any given game week Ave. 0.89 correct per week Accas: +30.84pts 7 correct from 77 = 9.09% 2 was the most in any given game week Ave. 0.18 correct per week  God knows how this Slot guy will get on, he looks and sounds like a toned down version of Klopp but I'd punt he'll get them top 4 based on what I've seen so far, never heard of Hürzeler, how many times can Brighton pluck a random manager from nowhere and get away with it, Maresca looks a bit clueless but he was signed by Boehly so that was probably part of the job description, think Lopetegui will do well With Wham, no idea about the second coming McKenna either but they'll probably be a Luton and punch above their weight all season before being relegated. Ten Haag continues to look like he's won a managerial competition to take over United, no player can take a coach on the sidelines wearing a flat cap seriously. Will probably be replaced by Van Nistlerooy by the time the international break comes round. Kind Regards. |

early doors mes, form lines get easier after 5 games imvho- early season games always difficult from a betting perspective.

 a sea or red this week, good news is next week can't get much worse, a couple of near misses with correct scores, other than that, not very good. Acca's and correct scores can sky rocket on any given week, so really it's the match predictions results that need to be steadied. Kind Regards. |

 knew it'd be a bad start as per opening post, but worse than expected, still, didn't know what to expect from Liverpool or Brighton for example, now I do, match odds in profit and will land one of these big acca's and correct scores sooner rather than later, acca's a lot closer this week, small balls lost by 1 goal, medium balls lost by 1 failed Chelsea goal, big balls had 3 of the 4 matches winning with 6 of the 8 teams scoring in the second half. Speaking of which, was looking closer at the BTTS in the second stats from previous seasons 23/24 129 3.4 a week 22/23 98 2.57 21/22 84 2.21 20/21 85 2.23 19/20 83 2.18 last season had a sharp increase due to the extra injury time played, will expect it to be similar again this season, suffice to say, 4 in a week is too much, will probably restrict that to two or three.
