Week 21

tbh this week's effort is a bit lazy as I'm too busy with the Australian open but tried to put some thought process into it, will be the same for next two weeks, almost forgot there were mid week games, which I'll be asleep during, Kind Regards.

Of course it's team goals I'm backing I've only mentioned team names, imagine getting 15/1 on an over 1.5 match treble currently trading at 1.82! you wouldn't even get 15/1 on that if all 3 games were 0-0 at half timeLaugh. You'd have to be as thick as Emiteb to try and pull that one off and Lord knows he is one thick puppy. The small balls acca is actually now 16.63 so I've mugged myself off. The medium balls acca from last week even funnier, you wouldn't have got more than 2/1 on match overs for those selections, to think I'd post that as a 63/1 shot FFSLaugh. I've posted predictions for 59 separate game weeks, 38 from 2 years ago, 21 thus far this season, all using 365 odds, If I wanted to use inflated odds I'd quote the best odds available on odds checker using fly by night bookies nobody has an account let alone heard off but are promoting 'new player prices', but I haven't, haven't used the exchange odds either, you should all know by now that if anything I'm an Honest Joe and all odds printed were correct at time of going to press. Maybe I should start posting over 1.5 match trebles at paltry odds as maybe then I might actually back a winner!

I'll forgive you both this time as I like you but I'm putting you both on the naughty step for a weekWink

Kind Regards

Young forumite: mesmerised losing betting slips are 7 foot tall.

mesmerised: Yes, yes they are, they’ve killed a hundred dreams.

(shouts of loser from the crowd)

Mesmerised: And dying in my bed years from now, I would still not be willing to trade all those losses from that day to this knowing I always had that one chance, just one chance to keep coming back here and land that one big winner, and to tell all my enemies that they may laugh at my losses, but they were never able, to laugh me off...........THE FORUM !!!!!!!! Liverpool much too short at Brentford
Arsenal seem short v Villa given their attackers missing
Can never back Spurs when it's their second game in a week, and Everton will be looking at this as one to get three points
Not sure I'd be keen backing Fulham odds on away from home

Good luck

Can't see Spurs winning at Everton. 1-0FT or 2-0FT looks a better bet.

Everyone of the matches this week, The odds on favourites have recently lost/drawn odds on matches against massive underdogs, except Forest.

Southampton backers must be hoping it's their turn this week.

P.S.
Everton haven't scored in 9 out of their last 11 PL matches, dunno how you come up with 2-3 against Spuds.

By:

it's not a value backing thread though pp, just backing what I think will happen.
Spuds defence is God like Awful, Everton are now in a position where they literally have to start scoring to not only avoid relegation but to potentially stay up on goal difference and they're at home, but the spuds firepower should still be too much for them. Kind Regards.

Week 23

The moment I wake up
Before I look at all the match-ups
I say a little prayer for me
While combing over the games now
I wonder what scores to back now
I say a little prayer for me

Forever and ever, I’m tearing bet slips apart
But I still love to believe
Forever and ever, my tips will come from the heart
Oh how I love to believe
Pretender, forever, they say that’s how it must be
To live without a winner
Would only mean heartbreak for me

I wonder if I’ve been sussed here
Go into hiding and leave the forum for dust here
I say a little prayer for me
At work I just look out for signs
There’s Desmond I’ll back 2-2 this time
I say a little prayer for me

Good luck mes... But tbh, finding the song writing quite disturbing.. on a 1-10 scale.. 12!

You could form a band (i suppose) You plus 3 other tw*ts from the Arsenal thread... If you did and was stuck for a name.. I'd have a few suggestions. Mischief

But mes, you know what they say?
Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best
And
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the light side of life
If life seems jolly rotten (hoo-hoo)
There's something you've forgotten (hoo-hoo)
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing (hoo-hoo-hoo)
When you're feeling in the dumps (hoo-hoo)
Don't be silly, chumps (hoo-hoo)
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing (hoo-hoo)
And
Always look on the bright side of life
(Come on)
Always look on the right side of life
For life is quite absurd (hoo-hoo)
And death's the final word (hoo-hoo)
You must always face the curtain with a bow (hoo-hoo-hoo)
Forget about your sin (hoo-hoo)
Give the audience a grin (hoo-hoo)
Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow
So always look on the bright side of death
A-just before you draw your terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit (hoo-hoo)
When you look at it (hoo-hoo)
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true (hoo-hoo-hoo)
You'll see it's all a show (hoo-hoo)
Keep 'em laughin' as you go (hoo-hoo)
Just remember that the last laugh is on you (hoo-hoo-hoo)
And
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the right side of life
(C'mon Mes, cheer up)
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
(Worse things happen at spurs, you know?)
Always look on the bright side of life (what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing, you're going back to nothing)
(What have you lost? Nothing) always look on the bright side of life
(Nothing will come from nothing you know what they say?)
Always look on the bright side of life (cheer up, ya old bugger, c'mon, give us a grin)
(There y'are, see? It's the end of the film)
(Incidentally, this record is available in the foyer)
Always look on the bright side of life (some of us got to live as well, you know?)
(All right, that's the lot, let's get this place knocked down)
Always look on the bright side of life (the whole show's dismantled in three weeks)
Who do you think pays for all this rubbish?)
Always look on the bright side of life (they'll never make their money back, you know)
(I told him, I said to him, "Bernie" I said, "they'll never make their money back")
Always look on the bright side of life

I can't see you getting your Brighton v Everton score correct. Brighton rarely win by 3 goals and they are excellent against the so called big clubs at home, but against the struggling clubs, they are poor, but I hope your correct, I have the game down as a 1-1 and if i were betting the goals in the game it would be under 2.5 goals.
By:

When: 23 Jan 25 00:59
I'm with Mes on this Cricketnut2, 2-0 or 3-0 is the CS to be on, Everton have scored zero goals in 9 of their last 12 premier league matches.

Cricketnut2, you make a valid point but like last week, most people werent giving Everton a goal, I gave them 2, they scored 3. Bournemouth were 4/1 to beat Newcastle away, they scored 4 goals and won, nobody was giving Southampton a goal, they scored 2 away against Forest, Boxing day there were 7 games under 2.5. Whilst data and form are a decent enough guide, that's all they are, sometimes you have to combine it in with your instinct, mine is way below par this season in general but I can only say what I see which is the basis of the thread. Kind Regards.

^ Has the forum inbred said anything interesting as he's on block, or is it the same old 'are you the person that layed Haaland' tripe? no doubt creepy clarky who follows me around like a love sick puppy is a stamp collecting, train spotter who's highlight of the day is watching pigeons clamber around his feet as he throws them bread crumps in the pissing rain in his grey anorak. weirdo. If you're that desperate for my attention just beg to be unblocked and someone can let me know. Kind Regards.

there was actually three EAW, 1 goal out from Palace-Brentford

would never have predicting the Forest battering
Even with injuries the filth should be beating Leicester at home, would never have predicted that
Wolves/Arsenal was never going to be high scoring after the sending off
Have no idea how to predict Man United games, just don't know which United side will turn up, they can go away to City and win, go to Liverpool and get a draw, but be beaten by Brightonm Bournemouth and Forest at home.
Crickenut was correct with Everton, Moyes has out Dyched Dyche and got a clean sheet but a single goal to go with it.
Maybe it's me but it does feel like a more difficult season that usual to make predictions, barely getting half the weekly results right atm.

not just you mes im having the worst season in a very long time.

form is very fickle and the difference between teams in all the english leagues has become very marginal
