I feel your pain Emit. Gut-wrenching in FF terms. Only a fellow sufferer will/would understand. Would you like to talk about it?
If anyone has suffered distress, anxiety as a result of the reading of this issue please contact the Betfair Footy League administrator and beg of a free transfer next game week. There is no harm in trying! ![]() |

27 points, twenty seven.
4 more than micky van de ven. Ffs |

I love your cynical assessment of the irony. 35 here and absolutely delighted with six players getting me 9 points.Just lashed out in anger and dumped Pickford and Grealish. No half measures here. Cutting off my nose to spite my face my ma used to call it! Lmao @ my ineptitude. |

I'm waiting until after carabao cup.
Then I've a few transfers so nobody is safe Absolutely nobody. |

My poor season is all down to trying to be different, especially going 3 spurs. About to take a -12 out of rage Laugh That's the biggest kick in the bollox this week from the defending champ, got rid of two Spurs players but kept Van De Venn ......stuck him on the bench![]() |
|
By:
I think I’m gonna end the week on 53 points. Not too bad as it was a fairly low scoring weekend.
It’s gotta hurt having MVDV on the bench. Ouch! |
|
By:
Two goals and a clean sheet is the best we can ever really hope for for a defender.
|
|
By:
And defcon points, and bonus points
|
|
By:
Foden to Saka 1 v 3 = + 2
Gakpo to Enzo 2 v 2 = 0 Konsa to Chalobah 8 v 1 = -7 Not a good start on getting those 8 points back (weeks 9-12) - now need 13 weeks 10-12 But hey-ho, as a Sunderland fan, I'll take our win over FPL points anyday ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Looks like duffy is the top scorer this week... Just my luck looks like I'm second top scorer.
Well played Bench Fart FC.... ![]() 31 points on the bench for me this week, to go with last weeks haul of 27 points... |
|
By:
btw, did I see Haaland limping off after the match?
Might need looking into. ![]() |

Emit
Your bench beats my team. Lol Goddess That's the spirit. |

I'm quite some way from being second this week...

Let's hope normal service will be restored next weekend.

Just 30 points this week, having a total shocker. I've even dropped down to third in my workplace league.
![]() Just to make matters worse, I can't buy a winner on the horses either!! |
|
By:
Transfer minus points considered, Van De Ven on my bench (23) has more points than my entire playing team
|
|
By:
I’ve got my eye on 20th spot.

|
By:
I would be 13th,after my disaster.
|
|
By:
I was 114 points behind the leader. Now it’s 92. That’s good ground in a week.
|
|
By:
Well done.

Tired of persevering with Pedro... He's history.
Strand Larsen did his job (sort of).. He's history. |
|
By:
I’ve been thinking of ditching Pedro for ages but (until yesterday?) he was still the second highest scoring forward.
I’m toying with the idea of three Arsenal defenders. Would have to ditch Saka and Goyk (not too bothered about him) though. |
|
By:
I thought about three Arsenal defenders but can't do it, they let a goal in it's a killer even though they aren't conceding ATM.
|
|
By:
Two Arsenal defenders and a rock-solid, never off the team sheet midfielder has seen me sustain my holding on by my fingernails surfing of position 23. Without them I would have scored much, much worse.
Seriously my thinking was it is so difficult to read Arteta’s mind on his midfield that concentrating on defensive points was the way to get a regular if modest flow of points. I would say go for it because they attack at corners and get the odd goal too.Regards. |
|
By:
It is an eggs in one basket punt, but as LH says, they pop up with a few goals (and assists) between them. Even conceding a goal, three of them could (theoretically) could still post a respectable points tally.
|
|
By:
OffensIvely they do create little through open play, Gyokores looks to be really slow, there was a point yesterday when he had a two yard start on a defender and couldn't get away, he's also cumbersome when getting the ball down and doing something with it.
|
|
By:
Gyok is a Championship player playing in a good team. Should get a fair few goals but I doubt he will be remembered.
|
|
By:
If I could wildcard now, I'd go three Arsenal at the back. They will be the highest scoring defenders this season by quite some distance IMO so it makes sense

|
|
By:
I’ve done it! Saka, Goyk, Spence and Cucurella out. Timber, Califori, Salah and Wolfemade in. Four points cost.
No doubt I will jinx the clean sheets now! |

There’s nothing like going for it. G/ L.

Have bitten the bullet and dumped Pedro. Have brought in Isidor to stick it to the Everton (ropey) defence AND made him captain. Had to accept what I see and that is a Sunderland side that is performing well.
Hoping for 60+ points. |
|
By:
Isidor looked a great talent in championship
last season, quality finisher. Carried it forward, and done well this season. Sunderland got some tough games, else I was tempted too. Chelsea got good fixtures, and delap nearly back. I'm sticking for now, but ekitike might get chop as I need money elsewhere. You deserve some good luck, (me too) so time for lady luck to smile. |

By:
Just getting a bit desperate and trying to divine something. Anything.
Thanks for the good wishes. |

POSSIBLE BLANK AND DOUBLE GAMEWEEK INFO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppu-ueRICBQ |
|
By:
I seriously considered Gabriel for Captain this week, probable clean sheet and Arsenal are going to be camped in and around Burnley's back line so corners and free kicks are likely to be plentiful, but the lad put me off when he reminded me that Saliba has been withdrawn early a couple of times lately, so could it be Gabriel's turn if Arsenal are comfortable and he has been carrying a knock with CL coming up next week also.
So it's back to old faithful Haaland, I think Bournemouth will give City plenty but they won't defend as well as Villa and reckon it will be an end to end open game. |
|
By:
I've been a bit counter intuitive this week.
Delap getting sent off suppers joao Pedro a bit so ekitike is retained Krupi in for pedro And saka and gakpo come in to hopefully upgrade my midfield. Gambling time, especially if slot machine is truly bust. |
