Like two of the three changes but might have kept Gakpo.  Am definitely going to bring in Gordon next game week.  I think he is about to burst into point-scoring form.  Love Chalobah too.  Am looking for my free hit week too.
You are going so well and must be enjoying it!  Well done.

-8pt hit just screams chasing, Foden and Gakpo are very good keeps this week never mind sell, Foden will start having not played CL mid week, Gakpo Liverpool's best player so far.

It's how much the -8 is over 4 weeks, personally I think my 3 new players will score more than the other 3 by more than 8 over that period. The other benefit will be that I can save a few transfers over the coming weeks - injuries permitting.

I took a -4 last week and am doing so again this week, I have swapped Eze for Rice who I have had previously, I haven't been impressed with Eze so far and although it's early he doesn't look to be fitting in, those rampaging explosive play he gets at Palace isn't really Arsenal who are more deliberate and grinding.

The other one is getting rid of Evanilson and sticking in Ekitike who is now going to get a run in the team, he's really impressive and doesn't have to worry about Isak for a few weeks, hopefully he can make it ever more difficult for Slot to mess him about when Isak is fit again.

Gordon could be a great buy, but wissa could be the great differential.

Good luck all

Never took a -8, one -4 in 2 years.

Leeds v West Ham tonite so get them teams locked today.

Took a -24 early on, and it sort of worked.  Had to, had made such a bad start.

I was looking at a team that scored 134pts last week.  They made 10 transfers, 5 saved & 5 bought.

-8 can be a small price to pay if you choose wisely.

Yikes, I was tempted to make a few changes, but
can't do what I want, so am sticking with team that
struggled a bit last week.

I'd love to get saka and timber, but only haaland
could finance that, so...

Isak's 50/50 for the weekend

Team of the week nearly always has loads of transfers
as they are trying to win team of the week and not
worry about season long leagues.

Each to their own, and if it needs to be done, then
it needs to be done.

Isak played with his dodgy groin at newcastle
and it didn't prevent him kicking but did impact
on his work rate, and he struggled in foot races over 20 yds or so.

Rest is best cure, but not real option for footballers.
By:

There are two chances for Isak not to play at the weekend, the first is that his groin keeps him out, the second is that he's been bordering on useless so far whilst Ekitike has started superbly.

Isak did alright off bench when at newcastle
and he always struck me as a 65-70 minute player
when starting.

Surely he finds some form at some point

One change to my team of 22 Oct 17.57.  Have taken out Senesi, who I hoped might get a shutout against Forest.  Dyche has already got them scoring so gone cold on that idea.  Timber subbed back in.  Palace looking goal-fertile but I’ll just have to hope for a return.  Two “easier” games coming up, if we can ever say such a thing in this EPL where form trends change in the long wait of a VAR!  Laugh

I haven't got him but Senesi is the FPL geeks darling.

I agree with the Eze move even with Odegaard out as I don't like the minutes Eze gets for an attacking mid, too unreliable, though he's playing against his old club this weekend, players always score against their old club, can see him walking away already not celebrating.

Gabriel a doubt now
By:

When: 24 Oct 25 15:14
It is still very early for Eze, but just am wondering if he is always going to look best in a counter attacking team when he can spring forward and we see that explosive stuff from him, with Arsenal it is going to be far more ordered and a slower surgical breaking down of the opposition.

Eze used to be the big fish in a small pond. They’re gold for Fantasy Football. Now he’s in a team where they’re all very good.

How come you have no Haaland but have only Larsen as a 3rd striker?

Playing my wildcard this week, saved enough cash to swap Larsen for Haaland next week.

I umed and ahed about selling Joao Pedro and buying Ekitiké but in the end I just don't think any Liverpool forward is VFM pointswise.

Tight between captaincy for my team between Joao Pedro, Bruno, Saka and Haaland. But Haaland so good right now that I'd trust him with harder fixture. Only want to go against crowd if I'm very confident.

Bad start already for me with Stach being benched so probably 1 pointer.

If they’re on the bench then I always hope they stay on the bench. Don’t really want them coming on for a late kick around and scoring you one point. Would much rather chance it with whoever is first on the bench.

Yh hoping so Kenbo then have Reijnders instead. Stach has a knock apparently so possible. Got Calvert Lewin though so hopefully he has a say if Leeds batter them

I'd play Timo Werner's Nan if she was playing up front home to West Ham Kenbo (assuming she is still alive). He's very cheap so intended as bench fodder most weeks.
