southgate currently doesnt trust hisa fullbacks in a back 4,his centre backs in a back 4,or rice to protect them
i,d imagine on current form a superior team playing with 2 inform wingers with pace and no out and out centre foeward to mark is the stuff of nightmares for southgate if we get through might as well take them on toe to toe with our best forward players rather than hoping to contain them,give them something to worry about |

agreed. i've had that feeling for a while, since the draw after the groups. backed dutch in the outrights at that stage, so i'm green on all 3 now. will just watch it and hope england do it

England should win to nil, imho. If the English back line can't handle forwards as weak as Siemons, Kakpo and De Pie then they don't deserve to grace the Final. Backing 0-0 and 1-0 England. with a bit of cover on 1-1.

This is the first 50/50 game, in 2018/2020/2022 we lost the first 50/50 game against Croatia then Italy then France. All the teams we played in those draws beforehand we were expected to win

i feel like they can still take this but it may hinge on use of subs earlier than he's previously made
we have so much talent on the bench, lots of pace but there's a lot now being said re saka after his last match, not sure he'll have quite as much impact here and southgate needs to be brave pulling big names off |
