Damn, if you'd given us your bets beforehand we could have followed you in and won thousands. Cry

So, you are clearly laying at the type of high odds which potentially give you a very long winning run. I'm guessing you are either laying correct scores or outsiders when they go a goal behind.

By 'pro' you obv all mean declaring as such on passport,  winnings as income and tax payable as such and not just signed off universal credit as they are hassling you to find work?

What tax? Pro's don't pay income tax in the UK, unless the law has recently changed. As far as benefits are concerned, they have a savings ceiling (which was £16k), which could reduce or even stop any benefits received if exceeded.

I do  miss threads  like this. They used to bread and butter on here, at least a few a week, most dying after a couple of pages, the others dying when the inevitable long losing streak comes. I do remember the odd 1 where it seems the op was still doing ok after a few months. I once turned  £2.22 on sat night into over 11k by Monday eve, didn't I do well?

the graph in the 16th has a different starting point to the previous 1 on early page, prob a graphic thing.

Isn't it just that it is last 12 months in the p&l so it will naturally start later

I’ve been open and honest on here…. I have had bad days, one was 3k down a week past

I believe what lump says 100% I just want to see the p@l from before, even though it wasn't laying it was still betting so it all counts , if we could just count what we wanted to and not the rest we'd all be up....It still might be good, for all we know, but we haven't seen it so we don't know!!

The betfair P&L only goes back 12 months

Net deposits that, never tally's completely with the portal for me, probably due to some sort of convoluted commission deduction.

All I care about is what goes in and what comes out Laugh - I'm pretty sure mine is accurate and it has stayed perfectly in touch with my movements since I discovered it.

I would love to see the 30 days Activity for April... Looks like a £10k profit.. Just incredible! If lumpOn could cut and paste that?

Whatever figure is on the 'Manage Payment Methods' page should be added to the current fund to give the correct figure lumpOn

Aspro,

Mine is about 20k out, I suspect some cards in the past aren't in the net deposit figure for some reason, don't know, doesn't tally for me though.

Lumpon,

Do you have a premium charge portal?....I'm going to come at this a different wayGrinWink

My account...betting activity...bottom tab

All I know is a few years ago Betfair sent me a spreadsheet with every transaction I'd ever made on their site. Took me a while to work it all out, but once I had a bottom line I kept track of it thereafter and it pretty much agrees. No idea why yours don't though, that is a huge difference.
By:
duffy
When: 01 May 24 20:51
It's probably more than 20k  because I'm guessing that my commission figure in the portal includes implied commission too on losing bets rather than real money.
By:
lump0n
When: 01 May 24 21:07
Yes, that is on the premium charge section
By:
Andriy
When: 01 May 24 21:13
In the premium charge page, it shows the commission generated, not that paid, so in most cases will underestimate the true figure. I'm not sure why they can't give both, maybe they think it would give a little shock if they put the actual comm paid over lifetime.
By:
Aspro
When: 01 May 24 21:16
That would make sense of the discrepancy. They take the commission gained if won or lost, or so I read.
By:
Andriy
When: 01 May 24 21:23
In fact, with the figure on the Manage Payments page, Premium Charge paid (minus 1000), and current balance, you can work out actual commission paid.
By:
Winja
When: 01 May 24 22:37
you only pay commission on winning transactions and the total commission on the premium charge page is what you have paid.....if the profit and loss figure is gross then surely that means you need to deduct the commission figure to find the true net profit.....providing it is a winning account of course......
By:
Winja
When: 01 May 24 22:42
actually that is not correct.....
By:
Aspro
When: 01 May 24 23:08
That's not what I read Winja. For the premium charge the commission is based on the commissions, if you win or lose, or that is how I understood it. It is the commission earned on the trade. So if you lost (say) £10 and the other guy won £10 the commission would be 2% (20p) credited to your figure on the premium charge, regardless.

You only pay commission on what you win, but for the premium charge you are still given the credit, assuming I have read this right.
By:
dave1357
When: 02 May 24 13:24
The charges calculation is (all the commission you have paid + 3% of all losing bets)/2.

For some people who were on 4%+ commission for a long time, this will lead to quite a big discrepancy between the "charges" amount and the actual commission paid.
