I am gravely offended that you allow your Countdown presenter to make comment on any political or social issues, without comeback. Her incendiary comments about a footballer now no longer charged with rape, trying to force Manchester United to sack him, are nothing short of disgusting. Until you remove Rachel Riley from your show I will stop watching it and I will be urging many, many others to do the same. |

Obviously she has put as much distance between herself and him after such a harrowing experience, she certainly hid very well the obvious terror she must have been feeling, I wish the poor girl every happiness, hopefully she will find a new bloke very soon.

MASON Greenwood is expected to be reinstated at Man Utd as early as next week.
The striker, 21, was suspended by the Premier League club in January 2022 and has not kicked a ball for them since his arrest. Greenwood was later charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour, before the charges were dropped in February by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). Now, after 18-months on the sideline, club bosses are ready to hand him a second chance at Old Trafford. A final decision will be made over the next 48 hours by United’s chief executive Richard Arnold - with a decision set to be made as early as Tuesday. |

Jessica Ennis made her statement
at a point where he was guilty of rape. He was later cleared after an appeal brought forward a new witness with evidence of previous behaviour of the "victim" This lad has clearly had a bust up with his girlfriend and they are now trying to get on with their lives together. Surely most people would want to help them get on with having a happy life. It's tough when football rivalries cut in, but time to move on, imo. |

Why would any club give a sh!t if anyone bulbs and says they're not supporting them anymore? And Mason Greenwood hasn't been found guilty ffs, so even when not guilty they scream like kids in a supermarket that want attention

I'm quite aware that Greenwood hasn't been found guilty of anything but hat stuff is on the internet and will stay there. For me it is disturbing reading and I can't imagine how people support a bloke like that. Saudi looks the obvious place for him for those who think he should have a career in football. |

On a lighter note I gained new found respect for said Carol Vorderman when she owned up one day to always trying to have at least three boyfriends, for convenience sake. It reminded me of an old pal. Auld Tam, widowered at 80, who used to go to the bingo and meet three different women on three different nights. I once commented on his prowess and asked him why he had three on the go. "That's easy, common sense laddie" - "It;s in case one of them breaks doon"!
