Comfortable for England, the better of two ordinary teams. Italy had a bit more of the ball in the last ten minutes, but have created nothing. One effort from Chiesa the only one I can remember. A second England goal totally kills this off, but one might easily be enough against a side showing so little.
Only negatives Kane falling over far too easily yet again, and Sterling having by far his most ineffective match. Perhaps if they switched him out wide? At the moment he isn't getting involved. Rice the obvious standout. |

Game was over after 3 minutes. Italy clearly a pale shadow of the side we've seen earlier. You can see in Mancini's every action, every facial expression. He knows. They;ve nothing in reserve. England have won this competition and rarely been out of second gear.
