"Inter chairman Steven Zhang reportedly asked Conte to cut his wage bill by 15 to 20 per cent and potentially sell players worth up to £70m this summer."
how is this type of **** possible in the era of financial fair play? were the Chinese massively subsidising Inter? or are they now planning on taking money out? Yes, covid has affected them massively and have taken the decision to concentrate more / put more money into their core business...from what i can gather |

By:
yes but isn't FFP supposed to prevent this?

So would I giuseppe.

Once the BBC headline these stories then they have to be believed. Everything else they write I take with a pinch of salt, but in Sport I've found that they seldom publish unless it is factual. Wtf is Levy thinking?
By:
I think Pochettino will get this.
Reports across the board he wants to come back and the only barrier is PSG want to keep him. But if he doesn't want to stay there they will hardly hold him against his will. They will just bill Levy for compensation. |
By:
His head was swayed with Man Utd. If he wants to come back it can only be because his stock has dropped and we're probably the best he can hope for to get his managerial career back on track. Going backwards is never usually a good thing, as both Mourinho and Zidane have proven. I fear the worst if this materialises.

Levy has one last chance in my eyes.
If there is a chance that Arry will stay if Poch is appointed, there is every chance Levy might turn the clock back, if Arry is leaving whatever, the less chance I see Levy appointing a guy he has already sacked. In saying that, I don't want Conte or the dutchman and I'd nearly go for Martinez at the moment. This is the last roll of the dice for this owner and this board of directors IMHO. |

throw 1 or 2 grand around and you can manipulate a plunge on here... ? seems to be what's happening...
£400 you could make Potter evens favourite, add he was seen viewing property in the Chingford area.. Probably make a few hundred pounds. Let me know how that pans out? ![]() |
By:
Whilst in close proximity to the ground, surely he can find a better place than Chingford to live.
By:
I see Poch retained his N London house
Living out of a hotel in Paris Dont think it would be good for either party to undivorce ![]() |
By:
this has to be NON RUNNER
pooch couldnt win anything with kane/ali/erickson at their peak, ones gone, ones gone at the game, the other is picking up injuries and would represent massive climbdowns from levy, pooch and kane ,with only a major trophy to stop the laughing ffs pooch couldnt even win the lg with PSG, if he went to rangers celtic would pish up |

Poch now out to 6+ and Conte fav
By:
Had a big green on conte but bailed yesterday for poch
no idea what's happening |
By:
There's nothing to it really. Could be one person behind it with a few hunred quid. One lay of Conte at 6 and no money to lay him between 4 and 6. Someone ramping
By:
Sorry one lay of Poch at 6 i meant
By:
Pochettino out from 2.9 to 8 so seems the dream is over
By:
Yeah seems just one person trying to get out. The market has no liquidity
By:
all the money at 6 on Poch now taken and back to where he was more or less.
By:
Hope that rush helped you Tobes. Couldn't track the market but was going to lay at under 3 yesterday, but never got the opportunity whilst I was online. Oh well. Was quite confident he would drift again, although the BBC report did make me pause for thought.
By:
Been out all morning (pretty much) but just seen the prices. Poch and Conte are currently neck and neck at mid 4's
By:
I managed to get Poch red below 100 and level on Conte
By:
Amazing a manager market can run for 6 weeks without anyone matched odds on.
By:
4 of them matched 2.0 > 3.0
By:
tells you nobody is in the know and Levy has not decided
By:
Poch is a nonsense imo, leaving Mbappe, Neyamr, Di Maria and the like + whoever else their limitless pot can get, to go back to Tottenham where he burnt out, his time came to a natural end, and they have no money to spend really, at PSG he has a free run at the Champions League, he's not going to bolster his CV going back to Tottenham, he was relatively successful there but that coincided with other clubs decline, difference is they're now back or on the way back, Chelsea, Liverpool, City and United all much stronger than 5 years ago, I could not see them finishing top 4 like they did before.

Coaching Neymar and Mbappe may not be so good if they regard coaches as nobodies and speak direct to the owner.
Would Poch be acclaimed if he won the CL or would it be all about Neymar and Mbappe? Of course if they don't win then it will be Poch blamed. PSG, Real Madrid are just not jobs where the coach has enough power or credit when things go well. |
By:
you want to go to work and work with those stars, he'd be a real loser to go back to Tottenham just to be comfortable
By:
Considering no coach has ever won it with PSG, manager would still get credit, I don't even think he's care who does and who doesn't give him credit, it's still great on his CV if he pulled it off.

Who asked for BARRY FRY to be added to the Market ?
