Jose's career has been on a downward spiral for years now and his tactics are not viable in the modern game. Surely you've noticed? He also alienated his players at Chelsea and Man U. He might have some success in Italy but there's no way another PL team will ever take a chance on him.

Well Conte is a big loss for me. Surely Levy can see it would blazing rows within a couple of months.

Looking ominous now, Conte has left Inter
![]() |
By:
Antonio Conte has left Inter Milan by mutual consent, with Simone Inzaghi likely to replace him as head coach of the Serie A champions.
Conte has agreed a deal with the club's owners which will see him paid €7m (£6m) for the final year of his contract. The former Chelsea boss guided Inter to their first Serie A title in 11 years but was embroiled in a dispute with the club's owners after they proposed a downsizing of his squad. Inter chairman Steven Zhang reportedly asked Conte to cut his wage bill by 15 to 20 per cent and potentially sell players worth up to £70m this summer. |
By:
Solhekol claimed that he had been making some phone calls and talking to people close to Conte and was told that it is their belief that ‘Spurs are looking for a softer manager whose personality would be easier to manage’.
The reporter also revealed that he has not heard anything to suggest that the former Chelsea manager is in talks with Tottenham over a potential return to the Premier League. he's also left because they're going to sell 80mil worth of players, Kane looks to be off for over 100 mil, and Tottenham need the money rather than looking to spend, he's very demanding with finances, I doubt it's him. |
By:
Can't see Spurs announcing him suddenly though, this was not something everyone knew was going to happen and they didn't appear to be any speculation about him for Spurs.
Likely there will be now though, and he does appear the best available candidate |

By:
Yeah, I absolutely cannot see how he would have a working relationship with Levy. But Levy seems to delude himself........

at least a shortish fav puts some liquidity into the market

Poch >>>>> Tottenham ? |
By:
How does Pochettino make any sense???
![]() I'd love to see him back but I'm totally confused how Levy can make a case to justify it.... |
By:
Harry will you stay for one more season if we bring Poch back?
Ok... That sort makes sense.. ![]() |
By:
Poch isn't coming back. I can't believe he's even being discussed. Lost in CL final and won FA outside of this. Went to PSG and blew the CL and most surprisingly the Ligue 1 title... and Levy would think he can improve us further than that?
Please guys, let's keep this real. |

Will Poch hit odds on

Take full advantage if he does tobes. Good luck.

Holy sh1t, the Poch train gettin a head of steam up
![]() ![]() I really didnt see that one coming. PSG would have to sack him surely (not beyond the realms....) as he's not gunna walk from that contract ??? |
By:
Poch is a loser for me.
I'd accept about 200 loss though. I think the first bet I did in this market was laying him @38 A bit annoying though as was down to about-70 on him yesterday. |

6/4 (give or take) doesn't quite hit the realms of inside info, but could be a traders dream today.

Potter was single figures last night, he's taken a walk
By:
suppose he will do with the poch £'s
By:
Feels like nonsense to me anyway. If Poch is going to be sacked by PSG why hasn't he been so already? And would you really leave PSG for Tottenham again, especially with the uncertainties over Kane. Media love Poch and just want to fill some column inches imo.
By:
Reportedly he finds the coach role there is very limited.
By:
And he didn't know that going in? Gee, I could have told him that...
By:
I can't say I've really touched this market. Had a dabble on Potter, but greened out for no loss and that is it, but if Poch drops again I might just be tempted to re-enter.

Breaking news on BBC
Tottenham have made contact with former manager Mauricio Pochettino about a return to the club. |
By:
"Inter chairman Steven Zhang reportedly asked Conte to cut his wage bill by 15 to 20 per cent and potentially sell players worth up to £70m this summer."
how is this type of **** possible in the era of financial fair play? were the Chinese massively subsidising Inter? or are they now planning on taking money out? |
By:
Zidane >>> PSG
Poch >>>>> Tottenham yes could well be, or maybe Deschamps the Conte stuff could well be people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 even if he was interviewed he might fancy something bigger: why not Real Madrid for example? |
By:
Wouldn't be at all surprised if Poch goes back to Spurs. I'd say Levy would have him back in a heartbeat, he's already admitted that letting him go was his biggest mistake. He is the perfect manager for what Levy really wants, which is $$ and running a tight ship and he would be cheaper, would accept less to spend and be lower risk than nearly all the other mooted candidates like Potter etc.
I don't think the PSG players respect Poch or will work for him and with Zidane, Conte and apparently Allegri all available I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave PSG. He only has one year left with an option for another anyway and if Spurs are interested and he wants to go back I think he will. He is not going to revamp PSG's system in a year and I think those players need a big name they are afraid of or else they'll walk all over the manager like they did Emery. I think it would be a bad move for Poch tho. He's not going to do better than last time imo and that CL final run was incredibly lucky when they were playing at their worst under him. In that sense it would be hard to improve on his reputation going back and he might be better off not tarnishing his legacy with Spurs fans. |
By:
maybe Deschamps wouldn't manager PSG becasue of his Marseille connections
Zidane is from Mareille, but never played for them |
By:
Conte to PSG perhaps?
By:
I'd say Juve have their eye on Zidane too. Surprised he would just resign if he hasn't got something else lined up. Rarely do managers resign these days
By:
out of Zidane, Conte and Poch I would pick Conte every time
By:
Just seen Sky are reporting Allegri going back to Juve
By:
bit harsh only giving Pirlo one season
