Leeds under Bielsa aren't dirty that is for certain, they are a clean footballing side, pains me to say it being a Forest fan but those dirty jibes are totally unfounded under him
They haven't had to cheat, one of the cleanest sides we've faced in the past two seasons |

The funny thing about spygate was how seriously some pundits took it. Lampards indignant stance was pathetic.
If I was Bielsa i'd have a pair of binoculars placed next to the bucket on sunday, just for a laugh. |

You just cant see Brentford dropping points and I'm sure they will go up automatically now. Looks like WBA v Cardiff and Forest v Fulham. Will be shouting for Forest. I always remember when Cloughs side came to Bury and battered Bury 7-0 or 7-1 it was one of the most entertaining skilful sides I had ever seen in my life. The playing surface was one of the best in any league at Bury at that time and boy what football they played. A truly great side under a truly magnificent management pair of Clough and Taylor. What a breath of fresh air they were.

Not one bad word to say about Leeds past two seasons painful as it is to see them playing that way in this league Yeah I'd say WBA v Cardiff and Us v Fulham, hope we can finally do it as 20 years is a bit long |

I like your manager SS. Anything can happen in the play offs. You are better than Cardiff but might be tough against the other two as they have deeper squads. Was at a John McGovern sportsman's do about 12 months ago and had a chat with him about when he was at Leeds at how difficult it was for him at that time and the tales he told when he played under Clough. Top guy and what an achievement to win the European Cup twice on the bounce and be the captain of the side. It just wasn't go to work for Clough at Leeds and I think we drew the short straw.

Cloughie even admitted himself he was clueless without him, one without the other never worked Taylor had the special eye for the player for sure, Cloughie would call him apparently when he was at Leeds for advice, practically begged him to go with him Was sad how they fell out in the end as well  |

You're right SS. I think with Taylor at Leeds he wouldn't have insulted the League Champions from the get go. I'm sure they would have succeeded both together but it was written in the stars as to what happened next. Leeds no doubt a tough team but don't think given enough credit for some of the great football we played in that era. We should have won more but we didn't do too bad.

Yeah Taylor wuld have reined him in on that first week, going in and saying that to the champions of the country wasn't Brians finest moment for sure
But ultimately it led to us  WBA will be demoralised if they don't go up now deplas, Fulham will be a tight affair for sure  |

I finished -£130 on them winning it. Was -£330 when I started the thread though. Had chances to green up for a small amount at times but never seemed worthwhile. |

Derby think they'll be hung over tomorrow
gonna have to give them a guard of honour whilst they smuggly enter their back yard, and then get absolutely schooled for 90 minutes and then shake hands at FT for good measure  oh the shame of it absolutely love it They wont be hung over because this is their big pay back, Bielsa will have them fired up for this one and Derby will stick a young team out already thinking about next season, should be worth a watch this one  |

That's one thing us and Derby sort have a common bond on deplas, Cloughie was loved by both and at his memorial service at PP Derby and Forest say side by side, I think our rivalry is more like a pair of brothers bickering rather than it being a nasty one ie West Ham/Millwall
Him and Taylor will always be cherished on both sides  |

When I went to Derby about ten years ago, I travelled on the road over to Nottingham, noting it had been re-named 'The Brian Clough Way'.
I thought that was so very appropriate given Clough's fantastic achievements at both clubs. Always a thorn in the side of Liverpool in the late 70's early 80's, one of my most painful and abiding footie memories was when the 'Champions of Europe' flag hanging through the railings at the Kop end, was rolled up after Forest drew 0-0 knocking us out in the first round in 78. |

No Sonts, that was to do with work not footie.
I used to go home and away in the eighties, but I am struggling to recall the last away match I attended. It's getting on for not far short of 30 years now I guess. I might flick through my programmes to try and find out. |

But he might see this as job done? I thought he'd go after the playoffs last season but he obviously felt he needed to stay and see the job through which he has so good for him But he needs to give it one season surely? |
