I see that Foyth has got a lot of blame for yesterday's result.
Tn my mind he may be a lot better than people think, I get exasperated with him getting caught in possession, but he may train on to replace possibly Winks in midfield. Unfortunately I can remember Pat Jennings when he first came to Spurs getting criticised for not coming for crosses and look how he turned out. The midfield of Winks(compared by some to Iniesta, yeah right) and Sissoko is simply not good enough and we won't win anything with those two in position, A victory for the kick and rush brigade but the team didn't turn up yesterday with a couple of exceptions. I think most supporters knew we wouldn't win the PL, to fall at the hands of the anti football lot rubs salt in the wound. |

serial non-winner? 60 points from 27 games and he achieved this shopping at Lidl while other top teams shopping at Waitrose.
Only few of our players are good enough to be picked by top teams in EPL and I wonder if any of these players are happy or even content with their financial package. |

No surprise that Poch has been charged for his outburst on Saturday. He has until Thursday to respond. Mike Dean has been dropped as the 4th official for Wednesday's game too.

These spurs players need to turn up Saturday, because with all these stadium delays, no signings etc, Spurs in vast majority of games this season have been ponderous, slow and devoid of any ideas or desire this season, flashes but overall it’s been very poor and a massive surprise we’re are 3rd with 10 to play. Burnley and tonight have been long time coming.

We have been over achieving with a moderate squad . It catches up in the end .When you start with Lamella and then bring on Llorente , you are in trouble . Trippier has been awful since the world cup and the keeper has been ordinary . The midfield is so predictable and negative beyond belief . It was a massive error not to have improved the squad . We are just not good enough to compete for major honours without investing in the team .

Eyeball it’s the lack of fight this season. Wembley is a passionless arena, it’s rubbed off on the team, this season we’ been grinding then flowing, only reason we’re third is that Chelsea, Arsenal and united are all in transition!! This stadium debacle has been a massive negative. We lose to Arsenal in same manner as tonight and then the rest of the season becomes a going through the motions. They must have a reaction if not then season over becoz they are already on the beach, they was beaten tonight by a very poor Chelsea team and it was because Chelsea showed desire. Spurs showed nowt and didn’t even have a shot!!

I don't buy this idea of 'lack of fight' at least not exclusively. Look at the number of games we've turned around in the last 10 minutes and I think it's one of Pochettino's plusses that he's given us some resolve and backbone.
I think it's down to quality - pure and simple. You don't invest in players, you go backwards. I did think we would run out of steam around now but we had shown no signs of imploding all th while we were playing twice a week. The first time we do get a rest into the players and the foot comes off the gas, we throw in two performances like we had against Burnley and Chelsea, so maybe there's something to be said for keeping on the treadmill once you're on it. Of course, my use of the word 'imploding' was premature. We're still third and in the CL with every chance of progressing but that's what it feels like as a supporter this morning and I just hope the players don't feel the same way and we get a reaction from them against Arsenal on Saturday; if they can't put in a shift against them, then we really are in the clarts. |

Defining game Saturday, a couple of weeks ago I would have said we were certainties,
now definitely not,form students would probably make them favourites. With two games against City and Liverpool to come we need every point. We all know that whilst Arry was injured we got away with a lot of results, since he's been back Eriksen and Sonny have lost form, whilst the midfield which imho has been a problem for years and particularly since the axis of Dembele and Wanyama has been broken up is not up to CL standard. Dembele has not been replaced,that fault must come down to the manager operating with second rate performers. |

We've been getting away with it for weeks,as Fig always points out if Eriksen doesn't perform we're in trouble and we've been over the inadequacies of Sissoko etc a thousand times,leying us at under 6/5 on Saturday looks an absolute gift to me.

You lot have been punching well above your weight but the board/Levy have been seduced into thinking your lofty position should be the norm.
Your move to the new stadium will, I believe, not halt a general decline especially if key players like Eriksson realise that he's been underpaid & departs. |

We've had the best away record in the prem,our home form hasn't been the best. Could that be playing at the soul less Wembley have anything to do with it? But you wouldn't know haven't not been there for a prem game. |

Congratulations to Mr Pochettino on his London Manager Of The Year Award . Whilst the competition was inevitably weak one can only beat what is put in front of one .

A bit of local wind up, which we wouldn't have seen a month ago
when they were bemoaning their defence. Jan was a huge miss on Wednesday, we don't seem the same team without him. If he's missing again I would hope we play Davies in his position play Danny and drop Trippier. This would make us a lot more solid, although Aurier is always a mistake waiting to happen. |

It took me days to recover from the loss against Chelsea because I thought we would roll them over easily. The harsh reality is we lack quality and as mentioned above we had been overachieving for couple of seasons now. We already knew about the lack of quality but against Chelsea some players looked as if they have already left the club and dreaming about their new jobs and pay rises.
I dread to think who will be in our team next season playing in the most expensive stadium. |

I expect Eriksen to go this summer and maybe a few fringe players. Eriksen alone would bring in the funds for a few replacements. I don't envisage a clear-out, Levy won't allow it and every time I see us linked to a 30 year old I have to laugh... that just isn't going to happen.
Poch is also making waves but I'm still not convinced he will leave and I'm pretty sure Levy will accept his plea that more time is needed for trophies. Champions League makes money; Levy likes money and if Poch keeps us there and fighting on a (very) tight budget he'll stick by him. 3 names mentioned of late, all of which have potential to improve the squad. Declan Rice, James Maddison and the impressive David Brooks. All of which will comfortably be covered by the Eriksen sale. Let's not kid ourselves, Eriksen is going! Lloris is fast becoming a liability and Gazzaniga should now be considered for the No1 spot. Winks is not going to be a world beater, he is limited and plays for safety rather than adventure. We need better. Trippier has lost the plot; Danny Rose on the other hand is again becoming our best option on the left, we look better with him. Foyth moving up into a midfield role (as mentioned earlier) could be an idea but he is still prone to mistakes, but will improve with age and game time. Kane, Alli & Son will all be there next season. All we need behind them is someone who can unlock a defence. In addition a good or up and coming defensive midfielder (Rice?) and an able right sided wing back. Again, I repeat, the sale of Eriksen could pretty much fund this however; the key is CL qualification again. That's my take on the current situation. |

As said repeatedly on here all our attacking midfield options are in one basket with Eriksen.
I see Grealish is all over social media today, but Levy was too slow. That said we need more than one attacking midfielder, who is badly out of form. No doubt they parked the bus today, but I was pleased to see Aubameyang who's got a great record against us on the bench, his substitute missed two sitters. We were poor today, but then we've been like that when sides set up defensively against us. Hugo two penalty saves in two matches,and I didn't think he had a great record on pens. I guess Deli will be back soon,seems to me it can't come quick enough. |

In the good old days we used to play reserve games to get players match fit. Kane is our best striker but he does not look match fit to me.

In fairness , Palace won at the Etihaad . It's a league where anyone can beat anyone (unless you're Huddersfield) . Not sure why it will come back to haunt you . Top 4 finish was all you wanted at the start of the season , top 4 is where you're gonna finish . Mission accomplished . |
