we had 12 points this time last season.
We're on 8. |
|
By:
penzance....are you seriously comparing the opening fixtures of last season with this?
Pellegrini did so badly that the team had to be rescued from relegation by Moyes. |
|
By:
Can’t cry how he’s got us playing togather
As tight unit Thing is only got one trick imo needs to be able play more attacking line for Next game , I think this where we full down 541 ok against Liverpool but Fulham another matter HALLER not interested and we haven’t got players to suit his game My Liverpool mate was worried about there back four Thought we’re get at it Haller never lift a leg woeful |
|
By:
Fulham Being made to look like Liverpool
There jank ffs 541 against teams we have to break down isn’t the way forward No point in haller we don’t service him He doesn’t try |
|
By:
Lol
Pmsl |
|
By:
Great last gasp penalty save by Fab
.Haller is no use in our setup and we will have to try something else until Antonio is fit again. The penalty reminded me of what Alan Hansen used to say "when you're defending in the penalty area you don't want forwards anywhere near" |

West Ham are pondering an offer for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, according to reports.
The Sun claim that Lyon are willing to sell the French frontman, who has become frustrated with his role at the club. It is said that Lyon would consider a bid of around £30m plus bonuses, with West Ham having money to spend and in need of more help up front with Sebastien Haller having proved something of a disappointment since his club-record move from Eintracht Frankfurt. |

Bowen bit greedy today
But do much more than tonails offered up Plank scored but still looks not interested Got the result but Moyles so negative at times should made changes 70 min in Could been lot easier Antonio sooo missed |
|
By:
I agree that we are missing Antonio and Haller was poor except for his goal. Cannot possibly blame Moyes when players look to pass the ball rather than shooting. We had numerous clear chances in the second half where players refused responsibility fot taking on a shot and instead looked for a pass.
|
|
By:
Agree but than Moyles should act bring
People on who are on the bench that will shoot !! Rather than pass responsibilities Tonails runs about puts shift in but Ain’t good enough in final 3rd |
|
By:
I would expect the coaches will impress the point about taking chances when they come.
Can't really write about the game without praising Rice who looked World class today and goodness knows what he is worth nowadays. |
|
By:
Yep
And again 70-80 min In bring him off too important to lose noble surly can close a game down 15 min to go |
|
By:
Terrible but we are 5th
![]() Can’t play 442 that’s for sure !!! Need some how get toenails out the side Play 352 with benrama in the team He gives as somethink tonsils hasn’t got Ability to set up goals Piss poor tonight Think that 45 help Antonio be ready for next war |
|
By:
One of those nights fattie, but to be fair Villa did put 7 past Liverpool.
Haller another waste of time and Rice was below form but when did we last win 3 on the trot? Agree that Benrahma makes a difference though. |
|
By:
Both Czechs where dog **** tonight
Way off as with rice Cresswell shat himself at left back in second half Benrahma can’t defend that’s what keep him out first 11 Cos Moyles likes tonails Made us look bad tonight villa did School us But we got the result and var Would like Moyles to change it up a bit 352 is best but maybe bit more up top Arthur and tonails out Ben haller in Bowen play ring back ??? |
|
By:
Bowen right back?
![]() |
|
By:
Antonio played like he were'nt fit
last night. |
|
By:
penzance, yes, I thought the same.
|
|
By:
But we got away with it
45 min done him the world of good But tells you what he thinks of our other choices up top playing Unfit player risking him Sorry state hopefully we sort in the window Antonio Allways injured so your get chance |
|
By:
Missed chances to put the game to bed in first half
Soon as first team starters come on They where in another league to us We are in trouble if Antonio long term The plank haller won’t get the service Bowen was good Same bollox tonails can’t finish he’s dinner Nor the plank Wonder what it’s like to have pace in a side Cos we ain’t got none |
|
By:
another lead lost.
We seem to be all over sides,go 1 up and lose momentum in the game instead of burrying teams. |
|
By:
Good news - My nose bleed , which has plagued me all week , abated at around 7pm this evening . Feeling much better now thanks

By:
Cuful ok at defensive work no pace he’s no wing back imo offers nothing going forward
Arthur got a trick or two no pace definitely can’t defend he’s no wing back either too slow Rice great holding midfielder offers little going forward as needed at the back Czech again great in the air does hard yards no flair or skill Bowen best player runs at the defence hasn’t got link up man to play with Tonails runs all game works hard but has nothing to offer up top another defensive work horse type player Haller the plank not in right team imo doesn’t get the service nor puts him self about looks uninterested We where made to look good in first 45 cos man where soooo bad under 12s side would played them off the park Second half where we are at imo Villa played us off the park Sheffield utd was better than us Fulham we where lucky A fit Antonio is our season that ain’t going to happen with his huge legs |
|
By:
Very disappointing performance on Saturday where we should have been 3 up at half time. Haller as ever was a waste of time and needs to be put firmly in the January transfer window. Only Balbuena, Bowen, Rice and Ogbonna came up to scratch. At least one more striker desperately needed if we are to finish in the top half.
|
|
By:
Josh King or less for around £10 million given he is out of contract at the end of the season and has made only four Championship appearances.
Worrying that he’s had not much game time To many injuries imo |
|
By:
Beat Leeds with 9 players and 442
|
|
By:
Same crap each game same players that need to be replaced badly in window
|
|
By:
Who In there right mind going take haller £25+ mill
|
|
By:
2-3 players away being top 8 side pushing top 6
|
|
By:
Good battling performance in a game we would not have won in previous seasons. I thought Balbuena had another good game but it's time now to get rid of Haller who apart from missing at least 3 chances per game is now giving the ball away at every opportunity. Moyes must wonder how he come to inherit this 45 million pound disaster but hopefully we can have a decent transfer window next month.
|
|
By:
When was the last time they won something ?
Forgive me ..... Its not all about winning is it ? I mean you can handle all your dreams fading and dying .....fortunes hiding . |

When was the last time they won something ? 1999 Inter Toto Cup. |
|
By:
West Ham played well, don't know why Moyes
took off the two lads, both played well and looked dangerous. Hopefully he'll take the FA cup seriously this season,we could be dark horses. |
|
By:
Palace played us at our own game
We where powder puff all night Sluggish |
|
By:
Agreed Fattie. Typical Haller wonder goal and nothing else just like the other week but we badly miss Antonio.
|
|
By:
got to beat teams like Palace at home,
if we're to keep the momentem going. |
|
By:
We do cos
We haven’t got the players to force the game at home Chelsea probably better team for us to play Where see Monday |
|
By:
Diop is terrible can’t have him centre half Monday
Said can’t see him lining up too Back to 721 for Monday Haller for me does not fit in to our system Revert back having fans there been on our backs last night letting palace very similar team to us Have 70% ball Said lanzini v 10 men still did **** all imo |
|
By:
Moyles has had easy time got few results where too slow getting the ball out of the back extra touch side ways passing cos no one as bollox or pace just to run at someone
Any sort of press up against palace They would been under it never got to asked hard questions Man U game classic case , honestly school boys would put 2-3 past them in that first 45 there for killing we haven’t got the tools for the job Can assure you fans would been on our backs last night |

West Ham United forward Michail Antonio has signed a new contract that commits him to the club until 2023.
The 30-year-old Englishman has scored three goals in seven Premier League appearances this season. After the restart of the 2019-20 campaign in June, Antonio netted eight times in six league games as the Hammers avoided relegation. His 39 goals put him fourth on the London club's all-time list of Premier League scorers. "I got eight goals in one month, so I've got two and half years now to see how many more I can get and how far I can get," said Antonio, who joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest in September 2015. "I definitely want to get to the 50-goal mark in the Premier League and see how I can go on from there." |
