I think a points haul in the nineties will win the title as you say.
If the new Chelsea manager is promising them a change of style they might be satisfied if they sneaked fourth position. Much like Klopp I feel that Poch needs to be winning a trophy this season. I know he’s saying that the domestic cups don’t matter but he might need one of them to ward off the criticism and pressure from within. Arsenal could be interesting and I expect Liverpool to be bang there although I hope I’m wrong ![]() |

Well done Pete, Degenkolb great shout/result.
Unlucky Dolph, with the Perisic goal, but pleased you found a return anyway. Back to TdF though, is Pete going to tip a week full of winners just like a few years ago, on the old thread? I have to say though the Sky team all already showing some sign of control, and is Froome going to save himself until the last week, just the Giro? The old thread was full of good tips for all sports, so let us please continue that again (apart from Boxing, obviously ) |

Stage 10 of the TDF and it’s time fir the big boys to come to the fore.
Really difficult race to get right and I’ve ttied to cover each of the likely scenarios but even then you have to get the rider right from dozens. Prices on betfair Chris Froome 24- can see him making a move to cut back the deficit and show the field that he’s still strong. Did the same last year Caruso- 26-his team don’t have a rider who can win the title so I reckon he will be going fir stage wins and tomorrow could be the start Bardet -28- could well try and make all. Definitely wants to win one of these and is strong enough Roglic- 42- been riding well with bad luck, very good coming downhill (aren’t we all) If nobody makes a break and the peloton are together with a few km’s to go then Valverde will take some beating at around 8/1 which should still be available in the last hour. He’s likely to be the best sprinter by then in these conditions. I will be backing him in that situation A couple quid on each and hours of entertainment to boot. |

Blind confirmed as going to Ajax for fee upto 18m. Need another 2-3 to leave as well.
Also need to kick on and get the players we are negotiating for, would be criminal if we are running around in the last week of the window. |

Who would you get rid of apart from Shaw ?
Rojo ? Lindelof ? Martial ? Mata ? Fellaini ? |

I hope Jose has the courage to give Tuanzebe, Pereira, Shaw and Fosu-Mensah some real game time this season. Will be interesting to see if the young Portuguese lad gets games with the advance publicity he has got.....Come On You Reds!!

Mason Greenwood is a lad to watch as well this season DeSS
|
|
By:
No luck in the TDF today, my picks didn't get into the breakaway and the winner went for home a long way out in the mountains.
Thought I had a shout at one stage but they finished; Rozlic 8th Bardet 11th Froome 15th Caruso nowhere Froome needs to make a move sooner rather than later or he will leave himself too much to do for the overall title. He might have a go tomorrow |

Mason Greenwood is a lad to watch as well this season DeSS I believe so but you don't seriously expect any outings from him unless we are injury ravaged? |
|
By:
I think he and others have a real chance if they impress DeSS.
Look how many games Rashford, Lingard and McTominay played in. Would like to see Gomes get games in addition to the players you mentioned as well |
