When Keane outed him and Dixon as a couple of pansies planning for the final

Irony is if England had a young Keane tonight they'd be shining the trophy already lol
By:
Roy is easily the best pundit. Doesn't do false optimism.
By:
No point kicking off lol
We lost, we all gave it the big one in some form myself included I wont deny But give credit where its due, we lost to a team who were a little more clinical, no disgrace we did well in reaching the semis But as always with England there's gonna be trouble because of booze, Saturday's "march" should be fun, live streams from 1pm lol, that's Tommy Robinson by the way |
By:
Ireland got beat 5-1 at home by a team who where knocked out by Croatia.
By:
"did well to reach the semis"
you got a bye to the semis. |
By:
Scotland would still manage to lose a 'bye' ffs

You can't compare ireland to england likewise you can't compare england to france a big gulf in class
By:
Any link to it kicking off? I clearly missed it or my version of kicking off is differernt from yours
By:
No kicking off, just Keane swatting aside the lightweights.
By:
He was just saying how England were already gloating about being in the final without yet being there
Wright took a bit offence to it but nothing like it kicking off into a riot ffs ![]() Keane was right though, we were already there in our own minds, we came a cropper and fell on our own faces |
By:
Keane really has got such a huge chip on his shoulder when it comes to the English and he just cannot hide it.
Wtf does he happens in every single other country, it's not a matter of over hyping the team, if fact the BBC and ITV would not stop showing montages of past England failures the whole way through, journo's in the pressers asking players about 'past mental scar' etc etc, what you did see at worst was excitement and excitable pundits, trying to be positive, what is the alternative exactly, to be negative or monotone the whole time? You want to try watching Mexico's coverage or Argentina or Japan, they all go bat sh1t crazy far more than we do. Fan parks all over their countries filled to the rafters as well. Stop making out it's English thing people, its a global thing, English fans in general know their level and live off of hope rather than expectation, anyone, such as that miserable bar steward coward Keane who walked out of his own country a World Cup when they needed him most, stomped on Southgate and tried to end the career of a fellow pro - that says we got carried away overhyping a team, so f****** what ![]() it's what football's all about, if laughter was a house Roy Keane would buy a tent and pitch up in the remote countryside. |
By:
Can't disagree with a word of that mes.
By:
but its true what keane said,, england already though they were in the final , before they kicked off tonight ,,
By:
I can’t temember anyone thinking that
By:
The one thing that struck me from listening to the journos (Ashton, Winter and co from the supplement) was just how quickly they forgot all the weaknesses that England had going in, were all still there despite getting to the Semi's and it only took a run against poor opposition for them to turn into a bunch of screaming kids thinking England were world beaters

By:
![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
The journos had two 30 page weekend World Cup final supplements to fill, which have now had to be deleted.
By:
I do remember after the first match how positive the bbc , lineaker etc were and I couldn’t see why
England hadn’t played well but they seemed determined to not say anything ,it was strange |
By:
I notice that when he gets slightly agitated the pitch of his voice goes up a notch...
It would've been a sight to see him squeaking up against McCarthy |
By:
England fans/media have the Liverpool factor knowing that they are going to win every game....Motd are frightened to slag them off as well in fear of reprisals on social media.
By:
The one positive that England have achieved is that they have displayed a togetherness with all pulling in the same direction, but that will only take you so far, against Croatia, particularly in the 2nd half, the technical deficiencies were there for all to see, we couldn't keep the ball and they passed it around and through us at will, which is what we all knew before the tourney started, the easy ride to the semi's enabled England to progress despite that lack of creativity but caught up with them in the end.
By:
nobodies talking about that , it’s about a balance
In the main it was pretty fair but the England players and management must be allowed to hear more than justpraise |
By:
* agree with that duffy
By:
Ian Wright: “You weren’t happy for us being happy!”
Roy Keane: “I didn’t mind you being happy but you were getting carried away. You were planning the final, where the parades were, you need a reality check – you’re a grown man!” sounds like a few on here! |
By:
There was too much talking from the England players and manager
Not enough criticism of themselves |
By:
It’s not meant to be a holiday camp and fun , they are there to work
