May have my math's wrong but we could be eleven points clear before Celtic play another league game. That would be a helleva psychological advantage imo.

Watched the highlights on Rangers tv.
Clive Tyldesley fantastic in the commentary box.
First goal was a Barisic free kick, the second by Kent was after some brilliant approach play and Aribo headed in from a Tavernier corner for the third.
Could have been a few more with the best efforts from Hagi (Side netting) and Morelos bringing out a good save from the Saints goallie.

Next game on Sunday at Livingston with a 4.30pm ko. Horrible surfasce to play on but expecting anoth 2 or 3 to nothing result.

Did wee Jimmy impose a 2 week quarantine on celtic as per her rules?
If she did then they are out of Europe. Precedent set today with Drita.
They've had to forfeit their UCL tie with Linfield.

Another blank from Morelos last night I see, the lad is demonstrably unhappy at sevco and is desperate to get away, Lille deal looks to have expired and if they only rate him as a 5.5 M player, what team is going to offer more than Lille would? It seems the board have actually spent money on players by gambling on getting funds in from the Morelos deal, so it's all a bit of a mess and ultimately further deepens the beleaguered finances of the club. Sad

BTW, seen your new Castore strip up close as being modelled by some ned, it's absolutely minging compared to the Hummel effort.

Cracks appearing early it seems. Plain to see the board must give Gerrard more money.
By:
hello :-)
When: 18 Aug 20 22:05
there are no cracks whatsoever

you will never see a team dominated like we did to livi , they never even got a corner at home

11 blocked shots and a worldy save kept it even but we played very well , retained and passed the ball very well and whole team involved , dropped points but livi have only lost 5 of there last 20 odd at home including beating and drawing with celtic ,tough side at home and also plastic advantage

they reaction , including many of our own support would have you thinking the league was over Happy

matters will be rectified saturday

Leeds in with a bid of £10m for Kent and Marseille offering £16m for Morelos.
AS regards the Livingston game got to mention the audacious attempt to beat McLaughlin with a lob from his own half by Sibbald.
McLaughlin was out of his goal and looked to be struggling to get back.

Sorry to see Ross McCrorie leave for Aberdeen but he felt he needed to leave to further his career.
I thought he was superb each time he played in the first team, never looked out of place.
I wish him well and wouldn't be surprised to see him heading south sometime in the next two years for a lot more than Aberdeen paid.

Morelos has apologised to SG over his recent behaviour so I expect to see him in this weeks squad.
A hungary Alfredo is definitely an asset. Off to relax now with a few Dreher Classic beers. Happy

Good results for Aberdeen and Motherwell tonight but for me result of the night was Coleraine beating Maribor away on penalties (5-4).
Never saw the prematch betting but according to the Belfast Telegraph Maribor were 1/14 to win the game. The £232k bounty will come in handy no doubt.

Just looked at the betting. 1/7 Rangers. Should win but those odds are p1ss poor value. 2/5 perhaps and that's cutting it fine imo.

A pleasing result yesterday and just as important imo is that is now five hundred and forty minutes without conceding a goal.

If Sellick don't get rid of Lennon and Sevco don't go bust, and the latter is a big IF, then 6/4 for Sevco to win the SPL looks a decent price.

Speaking purely as a neutral,of course, cheers.

Fantastic insight into the SPFL Ronald FFS BlushLaugh

Looks like Leeds are in with an increased offer for Ryan Kent.
Hearing its in the region of £12m with add-ons. Not enough by a long shot.
Rangers don't need to sell so no chance he'll leave at that price.

The Ibrox upgrading is well under way and plans also submitted for the demolition of Edmiston House and a new 2 storey building to replace it.
Not bad for a club struggling financially according to the usual suspects. No debt and cash rich.
... Oh aye and top of the league.

No way Rangers will sell Kent for under £20 million

In terms of the new boys, Roofe could be a good signing when he’s in one of his streaks, a talent if inconsistent striker.

Itten may need a bit of time to settle in

Think he's on a lifetime ban.
He's recently surfaced on utube.
If you're looking in Trilby let us know what happened.
Hope you're well.

Aberdeen, Motherwell and Rangers will find out their Europa League second qualifying round opponents on Monday.

All three sides are seeded, with Rangers facing either Bosnians Borac Banja Luka, Servette of Switzerland, or Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps.
Motherwell play Swedes IFK Goteborg, B36 Torshavn of the Faroe Islands, or Northern Irish side Coleraine.
Aberdeen take on Welsh outfit Bala Town, Viking of Norway, or Luxembourg's Progres Neiderkorn.

The draw starts at 11:00 BST, with the one-legged ties played on 17 September.
The trio will be joined by Celtic in Tuesday's third qualifying round draw.

another dominant display sat , seem to have put the inconsistancy to bed so far and playing a very composed and confident game

build up involve most of team and showing patience when waiting for chances and retaining ball , very exciting side look like a proper team who could take some stopping as fear factor increases ,also set to smash 100 plus year old record with a clean sheet against utd

Would have preferred a home game but happy with the draw.
I think Mac that Motherwell might struggle against Coleraine.
Not had the best of starts and unless they get a victory against St Johnstone in their next game then confidence will be at rock bottom.

The DR reporting that Porto are in the hunt for Morelos whilst the Colombian press are saying agreement has been reached with Lille who will pay £18m.
The old adage about darts throwing comes to mind with the media.

BTW I saw you mentioning Motherwell 'parking the bus'.
Thats been the case so far this season for Rangers and Celtic and will be the case in every game against most teams for the rest of the season.
