Some excellent analysis by OTH on the 'big' game in League Two today... guess most of the forum would be unaware that their is a fair bit of history between the two clubs going back to the early nineties when Roy McDonough boys pipped the bitter Martin O'neill's Wycombe side to the conference title on goal difference... during that season when the top two met at Adams Park the score was poised at 1-1 going into injury time and the Col U keeper sent a drop kick over the Wycombe keeper's head, once bounce into the back of the net... great day out that was...
Back to the game today... I have actually backed the home side in my trebles today... rather hastily I must admit at a paltry 10/11... the wheels seem to have come off for Col U presently, the goals have dried up and conceding four at home to Cheltenham last Saturday - with ten men admittedly - was a body blow... no new signings to speak of, a number of fringe players released and Smozdics may be off to Bournemouth... however, this trip today may well regalvanise the side... and Col U's recent away form is excellent as OTH points out... but for me it's 2-1 to the home team... i like the look of Akinfenwa to score anytime (bit short @ 7/5) and Mackail-Smith 2/1+... |

have laid man ure tonight home to stoke ! probably throwing away my dosh here as stoke are in dire form ! but a new manager has been appointed (paul lambert ) and that sometimes has a positive effect, also stoke have avoided defeat in the last 3 times the 2 sides have met ........... no suprise if united hammer them but at 1.24 i am taking them on in the hope that the potters can nick a point
bet lay man ure at 1.24 good luck amigos ! |

Foyles
I wish you all the best with this thread. It's refreshing to see a new approach, somebody not spouting off about betting fictitious thousands and someone actually saying what they're betting before time. The very best of luck to you. |

Good luck Foyleswar.I'm on unders in the Man Utd game to to trade out. Every man and his dog is expecting Stoke to get mullered here. How many times have we seen the expected team take time to score.

By:
thanks charlie , just trying to keep it nice and simple ,no spreadsheets profit or loss charts,or long in depth write ups just smallish stakes and see how it goes .oh and forgot to put my stakes up on tonights lay bet..layed man u at 1.24 ish for £17.29 to win £77.....................good luck all

cheers bigmo good luck with yours , it looks on paper 3 points in the bag for united but as said things dont always go to plan ,just think united are too short .
By:
i'll join you, not much else to do and certainly not interested in backing them to win at that price, gl.
By:
good luck eoaw we are gonna need it ! bit unlucky last night with the barca game ,i greened out at 2-1 and profit from that paid for the stakes on psg game so no loss there
By:
yeah, i didn't green but it was one of those things, i thought one of them would come off but the liability was low. there will be better picks later in the week, not expecting anything tonight
By:

real madrid are currently 1.44 to lay away from home to leganes in the spanish cup on thursday. leganes have rested half their team in tonight's league game so i'd say they will be trying. one to consider imo.

A long-shot treble for me. Mansefield, Carlisle and Wolves tomorrow. Not very likely, but a fiver would return 358 quid. :)
