You need to look deeper, of the 11 games 7 were against teams currently in the top 10 including all the top 5 and nearly half of the games we have played without any recognised central forward.

If we fail to make things happen in our games between now and the end of November then your prediction would be justified, but love him or loathe him Woy has improved them as a unit in the games he has had control and I for one am still a believer that come the end of this month we will be in a far healthier position.

Very unfortunate not to get something against Spurs on Sunday and Everton/Stoke & Brighton will be a better guide of how our season will go.

true and the next two games are cricial but roy ffs hes a manasfger with no imagination and way past his sell by date. you have some decent players but i fear for you i really do

Indeed Cork Langer, I agree with you in that we were most unlucky not to get something out of the Spurs game and I'm predicting that Palace beat Everton at home on the 18th AND we also beat Stoke on the 25th. That 1.8 that we are now to go down will be be a very imprudent bet after those 2 matches.

Will have enough goals in the team when benteke returns in a couple of weeks. No way palace go down, Roy or no Roy.

The Palace roller coaster continues...quite a few worse teams than us in the premiership, and we have certainly been a bit unlucky not to have a few more points..I expect the situation to turn around in the next 4-5 games as we are more thn capable of getting points from them all..COYP

Wheres there is heart there is hope! We aren't gonners just yet The Dragon. Out to around 2.50 to go down and I wouldn't be interested at that price if I was a neutral personally.

my point was that with roy in charge you are doomed . you got lucky todaty with late goals agianst a poor stoke side. im going in for more money at that price that you are going down

I don't rate Hodgson at all but think Palace will stay up comfortably.

Meanwhile West Ham have a manager on a different scale of ineptness but i keep hearing are a 'too good to go down' side

Palace have at least 5 players that would get into decent premier league teams , who would want a West Ham player ?

Palace have a lot of match winners even if Woy plays a robotic formation, agree west ham are in a bigger mess.

I totally agree with you tobes, I think we will be OK.
Our next 3 games are Brighton (A), West Brom (A) and Bournemouth (H). It's not beyond the realms of possibility that we can get something from each of those games, my guess would be 4 or 5 points which will stand us in good stead.

good players dont make a good team  and palace are a poor team they will go down with swansea and one other

I'll have a friendly side bet with you The Dragon, if we go down I'll send you a bottle of bubbly, if we stay up then you send me one. We got a deal?

People are overlooking the fixtures played so far.

Palace already played all the big 6 , West Ham only played 3 of them . 9/25 of WH's remaining games vs those teams, 5 of them away . Arsenal are the weakest of the Top 6 and they will wipe the floor with West Ham home and away , christ knows what City will do with them .

West Ham have already had the 3 games they'd be shortest odds to win : Home v Huddersfield, Brighton and Swansea  .They beat Huddersfield with a deflection and Swansea in injury time .

I think Swansea and West Ham bottom 2 with Newcastle most likely to join them .

The Dragon is 1/20 a Liverpool fan who has an irrational dislike of Hodgson based on his tenure at Pool.  Or you can have 20/1 on him being an objective bystander who simply doesn't rate Roy Boy.

I personally think that Palace will probably stay up, watched a few of their games and the reason, they are bottom, is because they struggle defensively, but are improving in that sphere though, but they need to take the chances they get, which they did yesterday, plus they play Brighton on Tuesday and we rarely beat Palace for some unknown reason.
