Simon Clare would be handed over to ISIS who i'd have told is high up the chain in the Pentagon.
Nicola McGeady would have to become my slave for the next 20 years. Danny Jordan would be given a new career on Comedy Central. |

James Doleman @jamesdoleman 6m6 minutes ago Sandison says a bet on "Rangers leaving the SPL for any reason either wouldn't be accepted or would only have odds of 2/1 Why don't coral hire Sandison and that useless sack of sh1t from Nottingham to compile their odds, they seem to think they're fkin different class. Sandison seemed to know there was a greater than 33% chance of what happened to Rangers and Professor Wankstain knew Leicester where too big at 5000/1 as he had them priced at 2000/1 Somebody put these 2 utter cants into the aftertiming thread |

Sandison suggests Kinloch was a "professional gambler" as he was "carrying on an activity in pursuit of profit." another totally irrelevant point in a series of irrelevant points made by both sides |

how many dubious bets have they probably laid over the years that have not came in,i am pretty sure they never gave anybody the money back on those, they took his bet they made an error ,pay the guy his money
|
|
By:
what was the error they made iyo garry?
|
|
By:
The odds are relevant to the interpretation of the contract and what the parties were agreeing on. Many contract disputes are decided on the basis of what the parties thought they were agreeing to at the time when there is ambiguity. Most other bookies would have been at least 1000/1 and I doubt when they laid bets they were intending to lay that price that Rangers would go bust and I doubt anyone would expect to get that price for them to include them to go bust as well. .
|
|
By:
the error was they never explained relegation or made it clear or made the gambler explain his bet more therefore leaving it like this now

Who was the trader on duty at the time?
Are you telling me you don't find it odd back in the day when Rangers where winning the league pretty much as much as Celtic that somebody came in looking for 250k-100 them getting relegated ?? They should have made it clear there and them to Albert that if they went bust he would lose his bet, i guarantee he then would have turned around with his once secured in his pocket and smashed it up on buckfast and battered mars bars for the night. |

Bookies pay out Celtic bets after reinstatement into Champions League
Efe Ambrose of Celtic in action during the UEFA Champions League group H match between AC Milan and Celtic at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on September 18, 2013© Getty Images By Sam McEvoy, Reporter Filed: Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 15:54 UK Last Updated: Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 08:48 UK Bookies have paid out bets that backed Celtic to come back against Legia Warsaw after the Scottish champions were reinstated into the Champions League. Ladbrokes had already paid out bets that backed the Polish side to advance in the tournament. Celtic were originally knocked out by the Polish side 6-1 on aggregate but it was the Scottish side that advanced to the next stages after their opponents were found to have fielded an ineligible player. Bets for a Celtic comeback were then honoured once the news was announced that it would be the Bhoys who would be continuing in the Europe's elite competition. Both got paid out in this case Different i know but still 2 pay outs |

We are coming back tomorrow anyway it looks like

That's just as much his error as theirs though. If in a contract dispute nobody is sure what they were contracting on then it would likely be deemed void he would get his money back and they wouldn't pay out. |
|
By:
Hole in One gang, they would have been a million to have been paid in this court.
|

By:
Sandison now questioning why Kinloch has not handed his betting slip over to Coral. "It's a negotiable instrument' he tells the court

Hearing ends and Lord Balantyne retires to consider his verdict. Should be given next month.
are you fkin kidding me ??? |
|
By:
the bet is clear imo
"rangers to be relegated" bet accepted all ok so far rangers liquidated and punter wants paying out on relegation which wasn't what happened but because its ambiguous and explicitly in the rules, all this time and money has been wasted on this case |
|
By:
in the punters mind his bets up as they are out of the league but he knows what he was doing regarding the bet but that does not mean he should not get paid, coral should have looked at the bet and stipulated all outcomes before taking it ,the fact they called the bet through makes the punters case even more stronger
That's irrelevant. He's taken it to court on the basis of contract law. You can't say the contract should be decided in my favour because the other party should have stipulated x,y and z in the contract and because we were both unsure on what the conditions were I should get the benefit. |

From the 17th
@jamesdoleman Kinloch agrees he "chose the wording of the bet" not Coral Asked why he did not choose "not playing in the SPL" says wanted to keep simple |
