Football is not rocket science .England had no width,it was like playing in a telephone box.Klyne tried down the right but crosses were poor.Sterling on the right wing would have been a good idea.Thats the only position he can play.

i do think if we had taken andy carroll we wouldn't have had to pick the final pass to get thru, with all the possession we had we could have just put cross after cross in for the last 15 mins, not saying he would've scored but he'd have been a threat with knock downs in the box and it would have put slovakia under more direct pressure.not saying he should have been in the squad to start games but purely for the situation that arose tonight.
