the 3 points against Man U might just take them over the line.

Leicester exposing Wenger, Pellegrini and Martinez for what they really are. Either bang average, incompetent or past their prime.
Weather Leicester win the title or not the dynamics of the EPL have changed. The fear factor is going. |
By:
It might be because they get themselves knocked out of the cups early so only play 40 games a season compared to the 150games Wenger makes his teams play ever year

Thai herbs?

surely the right thing to do is lay leicester at this point- currently trading around evs. I know someone will come on and say this is a great price blah blah blah but as a trade this seems a great opportunity to lay a team that could possibly be at their peak price for the season

spurs next 4 they have utd and Liverpool
arsenal.....everton and west ham city.....utd Leicester could be well clear after next 4 |
By:
Think they've only had 5 injuries this season excluding James who's been out for a year, 4 of those injured players came back within 10 days or so. I'm a supremely fit human being with many women to satisfy so I'm off to get myself some of these magic Thai Herbs in case I pull a groin muscle.
By:
just think from my experience of trading on here you lay leicester at this point
lots of ups and downs to come |
By:
There is nothing to justify laying Leicester at this point.
As mcfc1981 says, current price (which is is closer to 11/8 than evens) they are a back. |
By:
yeah but that's your opinion. I happen to have a different one.
By:
NO REASON at all to have a squeaky bum time with 3 teams with more timeform squiggles than harchibald chasing you down
By:
yeah and leicester won't get nervous and drop points themselves... keep dreaming.
amazing that all these hardened gamblers on here are anointing leicester as the winners already... surely you can learn from history? |
By:
These hardened gamblers are expecting their next opponents to sack their manager before the game.
By:
which will surely help the chances of newcastle beating them
little chance while mcclaren stays in charge |

What 1St time poster said
Spurs, Arsenal and City will all mess up. City and Spurs also have Europe getting in the way Looking at the fixtures Leicester not winning from here would be one of the biggest collapses of all time. They defend well, score goals and have no fixture congestion. |
By:
one of the biggest sporting collapses of all time?
hardly. wouldn't compare to man united, one of the richest football clubs in the world, throwing away a 13 point lead for example. (when bookies had already paid out on them) and what happens if vardy or mahrez gets injured, what then? |
By:
theyve already missed vardy for a few games, theyve got a back up striker and king to cover, typical media ,pundit question about vardy, mahrez etc when ranieri,s probably not sleeping more worried about morgan or huth getting injured
By:
.....Leicester have no fixture congestion.
Neither did Liverpool when they slipped up on winning the title. |
By:
I suppose the difference between now and previous slip ups there is no king of "mind games" like a fergie or mourinho to mess with your noodle.
By:
the biggest difference is if lec do slip theres no one dominating enough to take advantage
By:
5 wins(75 pts) should be more then enough for Leicester to win the title
By:
liverpool finished 2nd on 84 points. they had to win virtually every game to keep pace with man city. think they won 13 of the last 15
as mcfc says 5 wins they win it for absolute certain and i'd say 4 wins gives them at least a 50/50 chance |
By:
74/75 WILL win the title - lowest tally for 40 years
![]() |
By:
you cant fault the logic of van gal when he says unlike fergie ive done it the hard way,i havnt got steve bruce giving me 6 pts a season, LOL,
foxes will have do it the hard way ,in previous seasons tems at the bottom would be looking at the fixtures targeting points and leaving players out against utd, chelski, arsenal ,city away etc and playing their strongest 11 against teams they think they can get points against,ie newcastle will play their strongest team at lec because rightly or wrongly they,ll still believe its an easier game than spurs, city, pool utd, everton etc away despite results and the table saying other wise |
By:
don't think leicester will get to 75 points, although I agree if they do they will probably win the title.
By:
i can't either Lewisham.But 74 will be enough
West Ham Swansea and Sunderland will be tough games for them |
By:
it is going to be a record LOW points year
![]() ![]() |
By:
96/97 season will be the first to go - Man Utd's 75 points that season

what are you suggesting? Italian manager = blood doping...leave it out , its more like Arsenal are managed by Jim Best and Tottenham are Harchibald. Just look at Jamie Vardy's eyes. Clearly this bloke is on something. I'm hearing Ya Ba drug from Thailand. |
By:
do Leicester get disqualified if vardy gets tested positive for drugs?

I love spurs but we have very little hope outside of a relegation style collapse from lec
The difference with lfc 2014 was that brodge was going for wins in every game Stevie G wrote in his book the day of the chelsea game Brodge was talking about battering chels while Gerrard was thinking to himself you cant do that to a mourinho team. So it proved Leicester do not have to win every game Take a point, move on. Soon enough they will be playing teams with nothing to play for come april And you know you have to be barmy to punt on a team with nothing to play for at the end of the season. Look at last night Tinkerman saw they were being over run in midfield. Made the switch and hey presto 1-0 Says a lot when ranieri has more about him tactics wise than poch, wenger and pellegrini But there we go |
By:
the only way i feel Spurs could win the title is by winning 3 important games .
Manchester United -H Chelsea - A Newcastle - A Spurs may hope N'castle will already be relegated (Probable) - United can be beaten of course - Chelsea may be the final undoing ,that's got to be the toughest test on paper . Leicester should really be around evens or even shorter imo would be great to see the title won on 74 points ,beating the EPL (1992-2016) record ![]() |
By:
realistically at best spurs can pick up another 20 points and means taking at least 4 points from liverpool and chelsea away and man united at home - fixtures we've won 1 out of the around 60 attempts and winning 5 of the other 6. a monumental task
By:
Leicester will have it won long before the final 3 games, believe you me.There is no consistency from the chasing pack.
By:
Backed Leicester today reluctantly at only 2.28 - I'd had misgivings, but as pointed out above after recent results they should really be odds on now.
By:
*recent results and upcoming fixture lists, should clarify
By:
Just hope they don't just suddenly turn into Leicester City now I've backed them

i still have nightmares of Everton letting City win to stop Liverpool winning the league. Almost silence when Barkley opened the scoring
