rocknmoll - I don`t know about BF t&c`s but I know one thing, if anybody that layed 0-0 HT or FT doesn`t get paid, then BF is being run by a bunch of ******* muppets. Those bets are unconditionally determined winning bets just the same as your 1 goal or more in the match. If you placed these bets with bookies then you have already been paid out.

I bet a team that was winning 3-0 with 5 mins to play and the game got abandoned due to crowd trouble. I was robbed, but the bet was void and rightly so, because the outcome was undetermined - the other team could have scored 3 goals in the last 5 mins.

Dpends if game is replayed in 3 days or federation decision made, if neither then bets void and stake returned in 3 days as per usual abandoned game rules

MightyMac, I don't disagree with the logic, but then when has Betfair been run by people blessed with such. I think as Darlo said it comes down to the use of the word market, and in this case it is not a settled market.

unless the game is finished or replayed in 3 days you will get your £200 back

I can see what you lot are saying but if that`s correct then that is criminal. If this has happened to you guys before then seriously I would not bet with them again. It`s nothing more than robbery and the person who came up with the Rule must have been on acid at the time or knows f*** all about betting.

but thats the terms and conditions rule you agree to when you join and bet

If you ticked that box which you have to when you join then you agree to the 3 day rule

This is nothing to do with a three day rule TSO. It's the fact that an impossible result is not determined until 90 minutes whereas essentially identical markets are already settled when impossible. There is no theoretical difference between laying 0-0 and backing Over 0.5 goals, but Betfair's T&Cs mean one is a winner and the other void when the match is abandoned at 1-0.

Yes i agree, it should be 1 rule for all, but dont forget BF is a business where commission for them is KING

By:

How does that make any sense? By not settling a market, or at least part of it, Betfair are losing out on commission. (And good will.)

That's not right, if there's been a goal then that's that irrespective of any abandonment.

If they settled the 0-0 bets and voided say, the 0-2 bets they leave themselves open to interpretation of their rules. It must be black and white and 0-0 is part of the unsettled correct score market. It's an impossible result, but the final result will never be known, so all bets must be voided.

Only bet that would be paid out would be over 0.5 here

Cant see anything else being paid out, No HT markets would be paid out since match up to HT wasnt completed, so laying 0-0HT or laying the draw HT, would all be subject tot the 3-day rule

Really glad I missed this is all I can say. It's harsh on HT 0-0 layers who have already won, T and C's be damned.

I was agreeing with you mac, I meant it's not right folks aren't getting paid on bets they've won. Are you bothering with the 1AM games?

I knew that I heard gun shots during the match. Taken from Argentinian website match report, which I translated from Spanish:

A clash between supporters of the Viaduct and police equipment made it impossible to continue the match, the shark leading 1-0.

The hooligans again take center stage in a journey of Argentine football, marked by games played without an audience. This time, a confrontation with police outside the stadium in Sarandi Ariel Penel forcing the referee to suspend the match between Arsenal and Aldosivi at 30 minutes the first time.

In football, the shark had got the advantage on 22 minutes. A long ball in the attack fought, won and held the Colombian Roger Martinez. The front waited and made space for entry to the left of Diego Lagos , who defined and managed to cross the viaduct 1-0.

However, the half-hour mark the shots began to be heard repeatedly and the public in the stands began rioting to stop game actions. Referee Chief Operating consulted, who offered no guarantees to continue the game after 10 minutes of waiting. It remains to know the date for rescheduling the meeting.

I'm just thinking take a look at Tigre game they look at bit more solid then the home favs in the other game, only lost 1 of last 6 to top of the league team. With the lower teams especially I don't usually have a bet until i've watched for a while, might luck into a goalsy game, though neither match looks promising on that front.

I recall this has happened a few times in All Boys games recently, such as in 2013 vs Velez. I've been on the wrong end of both. Some people will be delighted but don't count your chickens yet, these games have been rescheduled within 3 days before (albeit only a small chance it will).

If someone or a group at a game in Argentina put thousands on 0-0 ht or ft, and a goal goes in, they could effectively call the game off themselves. This happened v soon after the goal. But it's probably coincidence. Lesson learned anyway.
