Well, here we are, one of the best sporting weekends of the year... something to take our minds off the **** around us at the moment... atrocious weather forecast for tomorrow so the fact that everywhere is running out of fuel due to the blockades doesn't really matter to me as I'll be pretty much glued to the armchair... just now had my first play on the Masters... do hope its not going to turn into a procession with a number of the usual suspects up there as the first round comes to a close, if that's the case I won't be doing a lot of watching, one for the purists but not for me... anyway, backed big Shane @ 42...
Singles and an ew trixie on the following up at Liverpool tomorrow... Jazzy Matty in the first, Excello in the Topham and Good Girl Kathleen in the Sefton... the latter owes me as I backed it AP for the AB at Chelters, pulled up at Warwick and wasn't entered for the big one... Emmet M a bit of a wizard so I'm pleased its come over for tomorrow, might outrun its price... I'll also have a few quid on Hitman in the Topham... Had my first footy bet for a while last weekend, went down Thursday evening with Orient failing to win at Wigan... other two were Norwich, conceded a late equaliser and Oldham who won in North Essex... three singles would have eeeked a small profit, mug treb eeked **** all... Swindon, Norwich, Reading and Bromley, trebs n acca... also -1 dub on Oldham and Soton @ 10/1, cheers... |

weekend bets are as foollows ;
HOMES: Coventry,Man Utd,Chesterfield Salford and Plymouth - all odds on so acca it is. Aways: Oldham,Brighton and City. Treble and patent and 3 singles. National League . Scunny and Gateshead.two singles and a double Gateshead at 12/5 looks a decent priced bet. They are in good form - lost 1 in 8 with 4 wins in 6 and are away at Aldershot who have been in poor form- lost 6 in 8 with 1 win. worth a go at that price i reckon |

I bet the Swindon fans who travelled East on a Friday night will be pretty displeased with the performance of their team... well it's that funny time of year, Colchester might be worth keeping onside for the remaining few games although I'll be steering well clear as once again I call one of their games wrong...
some positive news for the club is that Jack Payne is keen to stay next season, something to build on maybe...In other news Vip had a good Easter scoring a trio of penalties to move four clear of the chasing pack... Haji Wright has recently come back from injury and may not be fully match sharp but he does have the benefit of the biannual turkey shoot tomorrow as Coventry face Sheffield Wednesday... Ended up backing four seconds today  ... focus on the Nat tomorrow... pleased my AP pick that I put up on here takes its chance, friendless in the market so I've had a bit more on at 85 on the machine... so Spanish Harlem will be my biggest winner followed by Stellar Story and then Gorgeous Tom, win only them three with a lay up IR... ew punts on Marble Sands and Answer to Kayf...Lot of early interest in the footy tomorrow so it's a Bromley/Norwich dub for me, cheers... |

just looking at gateshead form again. they lost 13 on the bounce between early nov and mid feb.
since then they have been on a run of 14 games with only 2 losses . incredible turnaround. the more i look at it the better i like the 12/5 |

Derby playing 2 right backes due to injury, looks like of the 2 max Johnston will start at left back he played a few minutes last week but not played fully since October due to injury. Don't know who Southampton have on their right wing but an area to target for them.
Also Sam smozdics possibly picked up an injury in the pre game warm up ( not confirmed yet) Derby already short in attacking areas. |
