I don't think anyone had a good night colupaul. Only one from 3 for me. I badly over-estimated Gills who are normally tight in defence and Derby couldn't convert any of their chances. Bristol Rovers won at a good price but not enough on them to compensate for the others. A busy day for me so I'm not sure if i will have the time to sort through today's card, maybe later.

Middlesbrough should win tonight but the price is understandably short.
Middlesbrough have the meanest defence in the division and only Sheffield Wednesday have scored fewer goals than Charlton so I've gone for boro win to nil at just over evens. Note that btts:No is a slightly safer bet at 1.8 covering two extra possiblities but I reckon Boro will score at least once. |

That was a good one Colupaul. I watched the game and after Forest missed a few good early chances I had a feeling they were not going to win this one. Midtjylland price was insanely generous from the start but my aversion to cup games put me off having a bet. Well done for taking a chance against the market.
I will be posting at least one selection later, there are some nice prospects today. |

Thanks Foin - total fluke, was reading the ticker and wasn’t aware conditions were so bad, the away side just looked too big, that goal must have been scored within a minute of me placing the bet, just got lucky is all… Chelters has been a bit of a nightmare, only three positive outcomes across the meeting and one big Rick failing to back Venetia Williams 66/1 winner
 anyway, one more day and it will be all done and dusted… look forward to your footy picks later… |

Yes, they were playing in a downpour last night, luckily the drainage was able to cope and the game could continue.
Today I am Backing Colu to beat Crawley. @ 1.8. Mbick is out through injury unfortunately but Jack Payne and Lisbie both appear to be available so they will have enough firepower. Aarau v Vaduz is a tough encounter at the top of the Swiss first division. It could go either way and neither team is content with a draw. I'm not going to pass up the 2/1 available on Vaduz though so I have backed them regardless of the risk. My last bet is Fredericia v Randers. Both teams have had a poor season and need points. BTTS looks probable and currently priced around 1.65. I will look to get a better price in running, hopefully 1.8 or more. |

Good luck with your bets Foin, I’ve gone a little bolder than yourself and opted for Colchester HT/FT… the team were pretty angry at HT last week following the tackle that took out Mbick and I’m expecting this state of mind to continue in tonight’s game… although the striking options are limited Jack Payne has got a hatful from midfield and Harry Anderson back in the fold knows where the net is too… I was tempted by AUQ @ 10 plus but opted against it… HEALTH WARNING: I’m wrong more than I’m right when assessing a Colchester.game…

Landed the exacta in the lucky last at Chelters, however the SF paid a little more
 either way it was a grim meet for me… taking solace in a Solas (get it) Irish Stout to be later followed by Makers Mark bourbon… do find Chelters quite draining and I’ve not even had a drink all week… |

Yes, I used to be a regular at Meadow Lane in my youth but I moved away from Nottingham when I became a student aged 18. I don't attend football matches but for my sins I like to follow their fortunes wherever it leads.

Something to note for tomorrow, Chesterfield are their bogey team, it's a local derby and they nearly always seem to come off second best. A notable exception was when they beat them in the National league playoff and were promoted to league 2. Chesterfield came up the following year.

Visited Meadow Lane once during my football travels… a 3-0 home win… one of two games in a day… left the game once it was clear the result was settled, legged it to the station and Jumped on the train to Derby to see West Ham… 5.30 kick off, missed the first few minutes… West Ham won 1-0 with a late Don Hutchinson strike… one of only two days where I’ve managed to see two games…

That was frustrating to watch Colupaul. A poor night for me again, it's not been a good week at all. I will be cautious this weekend and maybe no bets tomorrow.
