Good luck both… Foin - interesting line up from Colchester, Mbick returns but plays behind Tovide, doesn’t work for me… best player Jack Payne drops to the bench…
landed the place in Imperial Cup, that ground is hard work… |

Thanks Colupaul, heavy going everywhere I should think and not just at the races. I had a look at the two early league 2 games and there was more sand than grass on the playing surfaces.
A better start for you OTH, good luck with the second set. |

Stats suggest Newport not at the races first half, are you gonna bail?
By:
Mbick stretchered off…

By:
Not bailing, my lay of Colu covers the draw.
By:
looks like game over, can't win them all.

Yea… routine win in the end for Colchester… looking back my bet may well have been borne from the frustration of the last couple of games… did something similar earlier in the season when they played at Walsall, Colchester won 3-1… what today’s game means in the bigger picture probably not a lot… moving on, had a play on Wrexham @ 6.2, cheers…

Delap to be booked @ 7/2…

My footy bet today is Fulham v Saints both teams to score. Currently trading @ 1.72.
Also had a small wager on 2-2 priced @ 17.0 Good luck all |

Good morning, the Spy, I will follow you with that one, thank you.
No joy for me yesterday but I'm sticking with Switzerland and backing Thun to beat Young Boys, currently @ 2.8 |
By:
Morning Foin best of luck with your bets.

Never dreamed of backing Vale
added some bets for the Norwich game:Cordoba to score Ali Ahmed to score Listgaarden to score and be carded |
By:
Cashed my Swiss bet. Good reliable Thun, saved my bacon this weekend.

The game up at Elland Road turning into a damp squib… bizarrely both the goalscorers I put up have been booked

By:
On what you have seen,do you think Norwich will score Colupaul?
By:
I listened to the first half on the radio, they didn’t create anything of note… just seen the Beeb stats second half and they’ve had a couple of attempts on target…
By:
Just laid Leeds @ 1.04 for a bit of interest…
By:
OK, I thought you were watching on TV or streaming. I was thinking of doing BTTS but it seems risky with this game.
By:
Oh well… small profit on the day… roll on Tuesday…
By:
I've laid St Mirren at home to Partick in the cup game - evens too short on a team in appalling form, vs a team in good form (even if a different division).
By:
Nope no good 2-0, redded out.
By:
My pick for this evening is Lyngby @ 2.68 to beat Horsens in the Danish 1st division.
Good luck with what you do today. |

I’ve got 1 game for tonight, but undecided on where to put my money
Sassuolo last 6 games: W5 D1 L0 F11 A8 including wins against 7th & 10th placed teams and although having conceded 8 goals, 5 were in a 5-0 loss to the league leaders and I cant see them conceding many against Lazio tonight. Lazio failed to score in 5 of their last 7 games, W1 D3 L3 F5A11, and failed to score in 9 of 13 games against teams in the top 10, W1 D4 L8 F5 A18 (including a 1-0 loss to Sassuolo), so although Lazio have lost only 3 of 19 games against teams outside of the top 5, I’m thinking Sassuolo should be good for a return on the Asian Handicap +0.25 goals @ 1.95 or maybe an outright win @ 3.50 (or both) Good Luck for tonight |
By:
Good luck OTH. I've run that game through my checks and find them evenly matched. You are right that Sassuolo have the better recent form but if you compare home team home form against away team away form then the picture isn't so clear cut. I think I would want the draw onside to some extent if backing the away win although I'm not familiar with the nuances of the Asian Handicap.

Been looking for a bet at the London Stadium and settled on 0-2 & 1-3, with a view to trade, cheers…
By:
Good luck Colupaul.I don't like betting on cup games they never seem to end well for me.
Lyngby winning 1-3 and have traded out at 1.06 so well ahead tonight. |
By:
Thanks Foun and well played with your bet tonight
it’s all set up for a convincing Brentford win I believe… feel sorry for the punters turning up tonight… it’s been well documented that West Ham have other priorities… Pablo starting up front, what I’ve seen of him hasn’t been too impressive… |
By:
Thought this kicked off at 8 only to find it’s 2-1, bets down

By:
Backed Brentford @ 7…
By:
2-2 FT… West Ham were 1.69 to lay when I placed my bet, a more conservative approach would have yielded a profit… the Hammers putting in a spirited performance… bodes well going forward…

There's an awful lot of luck involved in predicting correct scores, grouping them together in "unders and overs" takes away a lot of the uncertainty. Anyway, there's always tomorrow.
By:
Well done Foin', your winning run continues. I've just seen my AH bet was let down by a 92nd minute goal!. You should give AH betting a go, I look at it as a less risky option if I fancy an underdog to do well or if I think a short priced fav. Looks likely to win by 2+ goal margin.
Plenty of games to keep me busy today |
By:
Two singles and a double for me tonight:
Reading at 21/20 and Lincoln at 17/20. Added Coventry tomorrow at 1/2 for the treble. Have a great Cheltenham for those getting involved. I have started a new thread for Cheltenham and will post my thoughts on there. GL all. |
By:
Thanks OTH, unlucky with the late goal. I had one like that the other day. I had backed the draw and normally would have cashed out at 88 minutes if drawn at that time. Unfortunately I was distracted elsewhere and forgot about it only to find I had been pipped at the post.
My main bat today is Millwall v Derby BTTS @ 1.84. I will have a couple of small stake interest bets in L2 Gills v MKD draw Bristol Rovers to win at Holker Street. This time last year the pitch there was in poor condition so not risking much money on this but I feel that Rovers should walk this one, all things being equal. |
By:
Dragon, I also fancy Lincoln for the away win, but not so sure about Reading so will play safe and also cover the draw
Lincoln City @ 1.93 Stevenage @ 1.9 Asian Handicap: Reading +0.25 goals @ 2.0 Both teams to score: Aldershot v Carlisle @ 1.60 Barrow v Bristol Rovers @ 1.83 Good luck All |
