germanys price is based on brasils no show against them...the argies are as tough as teak and have world class forwards...at the prices it has to be the argies.

DOn you people get it? Bra-Col and Bel-Arg were fixed by referees. It was piece of luck that Argentina won Holland.
FIFA WANTED BRAZIL AND ARGENTINA TO BE IN LAST 4 instead of Columbia & Belgium. Fact that Argentine got to this point doesn't prove they are winners. |

Well this is coming from someone who lost on bel-arg, col-bra. But i got them back and more on Ned-Bra because I saw that there is no more fixed refereeing. What ref would want to side itself with 7-1 ? :D:Dd
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I believe first hald draw second germany or germany penalties win. Argentina go home. The new greece. |

I mean what ref wants to side itself with a team that lost 7-1. No one.

Messi to score a hat trick is 40/1
This would also mean he would finish the comp as the top scorer ![]() |

I would rather back Ozil to score a hat trick than Messi, when messi has faced the best defences in europe, he has struggled, has he ever scored against chelsea?

I'm going against the grain and backing the 2-2 @ 29...

Ozil

Wouldn't think we can possibly see a 2-2 unless Argentina decide to push mean forward and test that German defence and from what we have seen so far that is unlikely, Argentina have set their stall out against Switzerland, Belgium and Holland by deciding if they don't let goals in they will be a tough nut to crack and its worked so far, its likely they will again be content to sit back moving the ball across the field when they are in possession looking to hit the front men and finding weaknesses in that German rear guard or breaking down German attacks with their tight defence and hitting them on the break with pace.
This will be a tough and frustrating night for the Germans who may just lack the inventiveness of a Messi type player to break through Argentina's defence and should the Argies score first I am sure 1-0 will do for them yet again. |

247lol - only a fun bet for me for a bit of interest... however, 3.6 for the boys in blue and white is mighty tempting...

Will the Brazilians riot in the streets of Rio if their biggest rivals Argentina win the world cup on their home soil in their national stadium that they never got to play in with Messi over shadowing their biggest star Neymar and cementing his legacy as the greatest?

My other half made me put the stake I let her use each match on Argentina, and tbh, I can't disagree with her
|
|

Well hopefully the argies don't succeed in boring the one billion watching. I wanted these show ponies to lose almost as much as brazil.
The Huns have been along with Columbia easily the best team here IMO The Dutch threw it away with frankie Howard's defensive ways or it would be a euro final. Replenished the bank after disastrous quarter finals and going in head down on germ everything. Ht ft -1 -2-3. Both halves win and score. Like a real man I'm emptying my bank for the last match . Gl all. Sad it's going to finish me been like a month long party. |

Messis chance to galvanise his place amongst the greats, hope he does although can't see it myself. Money firmly on the German juggernaut to prevail through what has been a boring Argentina.
|
|
By:
the only good thing about a german win would to end the "a european team has never won in south america" line that people love saying, if germany had scraped past brazil on penalties rather than beat them by a freak score, i wonder what the odds would have been then imo that score is factored to heavily into the odds
|
|
By:
yeh agree with mega and mesmerised...would love to see messi win it ...but germans have been much better team .....
small bit on germany... |
|
By:
Germans much better? Were pants against Algeria and USA imvho

Messi can score a hat-trick today and he'll still be nowhere near Diego.
|
|
By:
alteast germans look like scoring ...if germany go one down ,i am sure they will attack and score one back ...
they got the killer instinct i must say.......the argies miss tevez...he is one of those players of german mentality ...reemember him in 2006 n 2010 |
|
By:
why was tevez dropped, did he fall out with the manage? with aguero not at top fitness they could regret it, imagine england leaving behind a player of that quality, actually imagine england ever having a a player of that quality
and then there was nasri for france, it says ore about the manager that he can;t handle big egos imo if that is the case |

Can't seem to find the market for either team to be crowned World Cp winners (by any means / method of victory) i.e. similar to the 'to qualify' bets in the knockout stages. Am I missing something?

GERMANY V ARGENTINA - WORLD CUP FINAL 2014 ***
mesmerised mesmerised 10 Jul 14 00:04 Joined: 10 Nov 10 | Topic/replies: 11,274 | Blogger: mesmerised's blog Call it now - imo.... Sell your granny down the river and back Germany, there is no way this shower of s*** could beat them, Germany have been by far and away the best cohesive unit at the tournament and should win by 3 or 4. I've honestly never seen such a average team get to a World Cup final than Argentina, even Messi looked liked he was gone at the game tonight. Plus the Brazilians in the Maracana will all be supporting Germany making it a home game for them, their worst nightmare is the Argies winning on their home soil. Ref will know this too. .................................................................................................. The Germans were flattered against Brazil,it was a freak result. Best judge them on the match V France in the quarters 1-0. I`ve been relatively content with my pre-tournament bet on Argentina to win outright & was more than content to name the Germans as their opponents in the final for a 14/1 payout. Anyone who thinks this world cup final is going to be won by 3 or 4 goals is talking nonsense. The only way this could happen is if a side is weakened by a sending off or two early doors. Both these sides will play the percentage game, Id be amazed if it is an open match. To me its a 50-50 call on current form, so if the Germans are to win they would be the first European side to do it on south american soil & I for one would`nt grudge them the win. |
