the board want as many season tickets sold as possible , henrik fits the bill
By:
Henrick does fit the bill. Leagues almost guaranteed and he will cost peanuts compared to a 'name' be a fans fav too
By:
i reckon henrik also as its the only person who will come in for parkhead to be buzzing
moyes/carke etc will hardly send shockwaves through parkhead but with the king it would defo get more season tickets sold and we ll know the board want that to happen , if its true lennon left because he wasnt going to get the funds to strengthen then we cant expect to really get any experienced coach in |
By:
From a betting point of view i would be interested in Moyes, McKay, and as a live outsider, Roy Keane.
p.s. It was nothing to do with budgets why Neil left. |

Chaser - Celtic should have cleaned up all domestic trophies playing against Conference level sides every week.
No excuses really |

It was obvious from the moment he appeared on MOTD that he was on his way. Came across very well as a pundit, and starts to get linked to Norwich/West Brom job etc and now leaves Celtic just before his reputation takes a hit as the result of not making the CL group stages next season. It was all very well planned and executed tbf to him.

Will the World cup still be going on when celtic play their first Champs League game?

I dont think moyes would be the worst man, i however would prefer laudrap but fu ck all chance of that

He's not going anywhere yet. This is what'll happen.
After a bright start to their EPL season, Leicester City start to struggle and before long look in trouble. Owners panic, sack the manager. In steps Leicester legend - Neil Lennon. |
By:
There really is no excuse for Celtic not winning all 6 domestic trophies in the past 2 seasons following the demise of Rangers.
Lennon should have been sacked for losing a home cup match against Morton - yes a team thumped 10-2 by Hamilton in the final game of the season. The competition up North is about mid table conference standard for 2-3 clubs and the Conference North and South for the rest in the Scottish Premiership. Lennon has achieved nothing special and even poor clubs such as Granada occasionally achieve good results against Barcelona. Has Lennon left behind a stronger squad than the one he inherited? Think he has left behind a squad with not one player good enough to be wearing the Celtic jersey. |
By:
I think you will find that 10-2 drubbing to Hamilton was one of the biggest fixes in Scottish football. Had Dundee not have won their final game to win the league that match and Morton would have been investigated.
FWIW I like many others would have taken the champions league group stages, the last 16 and the win over Barcelona before any domestic cup. The difference in money between them is huge. Has Lennon left behind a stronger squad than the one he inherited? Yes, by a country mile. Celtic were a laughing stock under Tony Mowbray, getting 4-0 drubbings from the likes of St.mirren etc Granada's shock results were in the league. Celtic's were in the CL and worth 10+ million for qualifying to the next stage. Lennon should have been sacked for losing a home cup match against Morton Thank God man u didn't sack fergie for losing to Southend or York in the cup eh Think he has left behind a squad with not one player good enough to be wearing the Celtic jersey. Their keeper if off to Brazil with England for the world cup. Efe Ambrose will be there with Nigera. Lustig is a Swedish international, Virgil van dyk is a dutch international in the making, Charlie Mulgrew, Scott Brown all good internationals. Kris Commons was excellent this year. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of a good story |

If you watched the Celtic and Morton game you would know Celtic dominated the whole game and had about 30 shots but Morton defended like a most teams should at Parkhead. Also you keep going on about the demise of rangers so Celtic should have 2 trebles , So should Rangers have got 9 trebels in their 9 in a row campaign? Celtic only won i think 1 scottish cup and and 1 league cup in that whole 9 year.Trebles dont just come that easy How many trebles did united get with fergie when no one was near them? |
By:
Celtic had 25 shots to Mortons 3 , Goalkeeper made 18 saves , should we not give the Goalkeeper some credit here
By:
27 corners to celtic and morton 2 , sometimes its just hard to break teams down like barca found out against celtic in 2012
By:
chaser mate who would you like to see the tic bring in as manager?
By:
With the people in the running just now has to be Henrik , But Rijkaard is out of work as i mentioned earlier
![]() fck moyes malky is championship proven only and so was mowbray so we shouldnt even look at him steve clarke i would be ok with him |
By:
well mogga got relegated also , but for all we know malky could have also
By:
henrik would be a crowd pleaser

By:

By:

By:

I forgot to add that the poster is having a laugh.
By:
Why would you add that?
By:
Moyes doesn't have the ability to run a big club imo.
By:
Moyes would do a great job at Celtic. Far better manager than Coyle, MacKay, etc.
Sadly he won't come to Scotland ![]() Henrik would be a disaster at this stage, but there's no telling a lot of blinkered celtic-minded fans. ![]() |
By:
![]() Well, its a final goodbye to the `WOOLUF` ![]() He may have more leisure time at his disposal? ![]() |

Word is he is on his way to brighton, not sure if it has been mentioned on this thread as cant be arsed to go through it

The increasing army of green plastic seats at Celtic Park year by year says it all about the progress of Celtic FC under Neil Lennon.
No excuses at all for being defeated at home by Morton FC. |
By:
Hopefully Celtic and all other clubs in the Scottish League can find managers that can actually improve a league that has fallen well below Mickey Mouse level.
Fans should not tolerate the poor football provided by managers such as Lennon and McCoist. The same old recycled managers and coaches are holding the game back up there. |
By:
Yep! its been jobs for the boys for donkeys years up here, level of coaching in our country is atrocious, people are fed up watching.

According to todays dailies Di Canio is throwing his hat in the ring. He would go down well in an old firm encounter
![]() |

Di CaniNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
![]() |
By:
Remember Di Canio was a great player, a very good manager at Swindon and kept Sunderland up last season when all thought they were down.
He would be a big improvement on Lennon and would replace nearly all of the current squad who really are not good enough to be playing for Celtic. |
