Henrik 2/7 for the celtic job
By:
Allegedly because he would not have the resources to take Celtic further in the champions league.
No doubt an announcement will be made by a club in the Premier league shortly. |

im sorry to see him leave scottish football

Been offered West Brom job

Reckon he'll be a flop wherever he goes next.

By:
west brom or norwich

Must have a job lined up and i think he'll be a success in EPL probably with Norwich or Newcastle ?

No manager worth his salt would go to Newcastle, I certainly couldn't see Lennon working for Ashley.
By:
wherever he ends up will be a test for him to see what kind of manager he can be - at Celtic he was guaranteed to win the league - didnt do well in the cups this season for me as a celtic fan sometimes waits to long to make some changes - wish him all the best tho

had a hard time up here, good luck to him, wasn't everyones cup of tea but had to deal with some horrible situations.
By:
If by some miracle Lennon did go to Newcastle maybe he'll appoint Alan Shearer as his assistant.

What a life it must be being an Old Firm manager, just trying to do your job whilst having to watch you and your family's back every single day. Can't blame him for leaving,gl to him.

Some English club have made a massive mistake, he achieved nothing special at Celtic bar the Barcelona win and even that was the well used template of sit in, give them the wide areas and hope for a set piece. The last qualifying rounds for the CL must of gone down as the easiest in history and he still managed to nearly make an arse of that.
Celtic could end up with a far more able manager. Mind you if it's Larsson ![]() |

Celtic should have easily won 2 trebles the previous 2 seasons with no competition after the demise of Rangers.
The club have no players in the squad good enough to wear the jersey and Lennon not good enough as manager either. |
By:
Most of the troubles that he had he brought on himself. He's an out and out idiot.Good riddance.Whichever club takes him on will be buying a 'pig in a poke'.
By:
he's thick and will almost certainly be a complete failure wherever he goes next
By:
Great news. Absolutely chuffed with that.
Hopefully we'll get a decent and experienced coach. |
By:
Yup he certainly brought those bombs on himself. Should have dyed his hair maybe.

Good luck to him, wherever he ends up. Unlike certain other managers, Lennon put the club's best interests first.

Lennon was in a no win situation. Win the league and it is expected. Don't win everything and it's a failure.
If you look at what he has really done for Celtic then it is not bad at all. Forgetting the leagues as they were expected, look at the Champions league money he brought to the club. Then add to that the money he made from Wanyama and Hooper. Then the money they will eventually make on Fraser Foster. Yes there has been a few bad buys along the way but over all giving the circumstances, he's left the club in decent knick. That isn't to say Celtic are a good side, just that he deserves some credit. Plus he wasn't actually doing this under normal circumstances. He had constant death threats and nail bombs sent to him etc and lets not forget the jakey jambo that attacked him on the sidelines on a live televised match at Tynecastle Where ever he goes he will not face anywhere near that kind of pressure, gl to him. |

Stevie Clark would be my No.1 pick, but I think it'll be Coyle.
By:
rather clarke over coyle anyday
get coyle to fook |
By:
In order of preferance I'd take
Michael Laudrup (not realistic prob, but would be top pick otherwise) Stevie Clark David Moyes Tim Sherwood Malky MacKay Jackie McNamara and please god no.....Roy Keane, Paulo Di Canio, Paul Lambert ![]() |
By:
be good to get a decent foreign coach in with experience but they wont come with the money the board will give them to strengthen
By:
Be Henrick or a Scotsman. Clark would be interesting
By:
far too early for Henrik. Let him learn his trade.
By:
My preference would be for Moyes. Won't cost as much as he would pre his Man U move and he would be best equipped for the job imo.
He was on a hiding to nothing following Fergie. Great time to get him. He'd be champing at the bit to impress as well for his own reputation. Could be a marriage made in heaven |
By:
I'd be very happy with Moyes. Tho I always had him pegged for the Rangers job at some point.
