Did think about timing of Harrys book, loads of press coverage. Imagine if we had not won both those games, but by playing well too must have sickened them. Think most people know Sun etc are garbage and hopefully see their agenda.

Surely the word monkey can't be banned when it is used to refer to monkeys! Are you sure? my take on it is that in the nasa joke the monkey is referred to as the important component compared to the bloke, wasn't hodgson comparing that joke with the england situation where townsend was our important component thereby being the.....you know what....not meant in a racist way of course but undeniable naive bearing in mind his position and the modern day way of things. |

You got to feel sorry for Townsend now. Every time he plays they are going to be singing feed the monkey or maybe feed the yiddish monkey. next we will have renditions of brown boy on the wing and God spares us, football fans singing swing low!
I feel sorry for the real monkey who didn't understand the anecdote but I lay the blame fairly and squarely at Hodgsons door. If you pick a footballer who cannot understand a simple instruction or an anecdote maybe it is not the fault of the monkey footballer but the guy who picked him and maybe Hodgson needs to get rid of him quick or resign himself! |

However you do need a brain because Hodgson was talking about a space monkey in a joke, not about a player. Even the thickest player in the world could see that it is in no way racist and you therefore have to question their motives. That said, i'm pretty sure you're fishing with some of the ridiculous comments you've made. Either that or you are Jason Roberts. |
