I remember dragon doing this a few years ago and I used to like having a look at his tips.

Thing is you can only lose so many times doing the same thing before the reality hits you and I'm suprised anyone would persevere with pre match betting when clearly the value is in play.

I will check this out as the season goes on as I don't believe anyone can make money guessing pre match what is going to happen.

Good luck though,  I enjoy reading the reasoning behind your bets.  I just don't believe it's relevant ultimately.

The long winded mumbojumbo has no bearing on the picks though, apparently it's the "system" that makes the picks.

If he's so confident in the system then might as well wait until they kick off, wait for the first tip to go a goal down and then back it.  Surely would be better value that way,  if they're such good things.

Not if the tip score first, surely that's as long as it is short

My bets for today are: west ham at evens, posh again overs 4/6, small bet on my mob to beat gillingham at 13/8 (although joe Bryan will be a miss if he don't make the side), brentford at 1/2.

Trixie with west ham evens, Bristol city 13/8, Torquay 8/5.

Good luck whosever punting today

Shocker here, west ham sounded poor and were deserved losers. My mob should have won with the second half chances. Only going by stats which is dangerous looks like brentford and Torquay had the most chances, but bottom line is a poor day but could have been very different. You always need a bit of luck and today certainly wasn't any knocking around for me today.

Well done with the overs bet in the German league viddy

do yourself a favour Dragon mate, let the system have 5 homes and 5 aways,  only then will it start to give you some decent returns..  personally i prefer even further in that that,  let the "new kids on the block"  get rid of their eagerness at the start of the season,  results tend to go with the stats after that.
GL mate, and keep em coming

Are you the same Dragon that spammed a betting forum, then ripped off countless people resulting in a forum left with 2 members?

Are you also the same Dragon that vowed he would never come on this forum again?

hi guys and gals trust you are all well,

had an excellent week last week with my form based system giving 3 nice winners at the weekend and salisbury in mid week.

the results to date are as follows; (All to a £10 stake)

HIGHEST RATED: 3/4 winners 75% SR and P&L+ 13.00

BEST VALUE:1/3 winners 33.33% SR P&L -£9.20

LAYS BETS: 4/4 winners 100% SR P&L+£40.00.

This week my system has given quite a number of teams with a high rating.but as usual I will only post on what gives the HR and BV bets.

WEEKENDING 28th September

HIGHEST RATED

The highest rated team this weekend is WOLVES to beat Sheff Utd at 5/6 with B365.(I took this price early in the week).wolves have made a very solid start to life in a lower league and lay 3rd in the table with 19pts from a possible 24.They have won 6 of their last 8 games and have won all their home games apart from a loss to Walsall. they have scored 17 goals and only conceded 6 and lie 2nd in the form league table.Apart from the walsall game the only other points they have dropped was an away 0-0 draw at Preston on the first game of the season.

Sheff utd by contrast are having an awful start to this season with anew manager at the helm. Expected to be one of the strongest teams in the division they lie 3rd to bottom of the league with a meager 4pts out of 24. They have taken just 1 pt in the last 7 games and there only win came on the first day of the season at home to a woeful Notts county. They have lost all 4 away games this season and are on a losing streak of 5 straight defeats and are up against it this weekend at an in form Wolves. i was pleasantly surprised when i saw B365 offering 5/6 as they should be shorter in my book.

BEST VALUE

I had two teams with HIGH BV scores and it was really hard to separate them. the first is MORECOMBE at 5/2 to beat northampton( i took that price early in the week with skyBet).

Morecombe are going well in div 2 following a shaky start with 2/3 losses. Since then they have gone from strength to strength winning 4 out of the last 6. it wd have been 5/6 but for a 93rd minute equaliser by Dagenham. They have won their last two away matches at southend and newport who are both higher in the league than struggling northampton.they have scored 11 goals in the last 5 games conceding 6. they lie 8th in the league due to their poor start but are flying high in the form league,

northampton after making the play off final last year are struggling big time.they lie 2nd botton of the league and have take only 4 pts from a possible 42 . they have lost 6 out of 8 games with only 1 win and 1 draw (similiar profile to sheff utd),and if yiou go back furthet they have only won 1 of their last 15 league games. Morecombe ar avery nice price to win this.

the other team i like are BURNLEY at 1.98 to beat charlton. burnley are 2nd in the form league table having won 4 out 6 ,they are unbeaten at home and should be too strong for charlton who have only won 1 game in the league this season.

LAY BET :SHEFF UTD

Good luck if you give any of them a go and as always comments gratefully received. selections made before team news

How do you determine value without taking team news into account, especially in the lower leagues ? Do you make your own prices and compare them to the market and bet accordingly? Simply betting on form tables is too simple over the course of season. Also why do you feel you have bet so much bet every week ?

I am not having a pop as I have just seen this thread for the first time. Best of luck.

hi david,

Value is price x points(as determined from my system) so  a high scoring team x a high price = value.

I only bet on what my system gives me, some weeks their will be no bets s there are no hr or BV ratings

i have been using this system for 3 years now and have made a profit each year

thanks for your input
