Depends if and when Klopp thinks he can get the Bayern job or not. Being a high-profile manager at one of Bayern's fierce rivals won't make it easy for him to get the job. And who's to say Pep won't be at Bayern for years, in any case. He's certainly got enough to work with there.

If Klopp stays where he is, he faces years of being a Bayern feeder club. If he finds good players, Bayern will buy them. When he hits a rough patch and doesn't unearth some gems for a bit, he'll find the pressure on him mounting. Doesn't sound much of a deal to me.

one plus point for moyes is it will suit the glazers to have someone for whom it's such a step up that they won't moan about transfer money etc.

still all feels faintly incredible.

Oh, the meeting definitely happened Biscuit! They had quite a long talk supposedly.   But then Solskjaer saw sense...  (Or got a huge ticking down from Molde's moneybags owner...)

I'll have £500 on Klopp at 26.0 if anyone wants to lay it? Don't fancy leaving it up unless a decision is announced.

If I had to go for a Scottish manager I would go for Lambert. He has worked a miracle this season with that side and club.

klopp wouldnt be a bad shout, has european experience and he may feel he has took dortmund as far as he can especially as he is losing two of his best players to rivals bayern

Strange that Everton haven't heard anything yet, given the extra rumour that the only delay is down to needing to 'extricate the manager from his current position'..

klopp is a good bet. but he seems content at dortmund. he seems similar to wenger. loyal to his club

Is it definite its a managerial contract that the person needs to get out of? Could it be a tv contract?

Can someone ask betfair to add Paul Merson to the market

Total Bosman and others, regarding the "they could have had Moyes at any given time" thought - imo, United owners are quite conservative and square-minded, meaning they want to have a replacement ready when they announce Sir Alex is retiring in order to seem professional. And timing is great, United are champions being celebrated, timing much better now than in a quiet month of June - Sir Alex can leave on a triumphic note, and of course, the successor is found.

I've laid the b0llocks out of Moyes but starting to get concerned. I have dabbled in these markets alot over the years and there just doesnt appear to be any other alternatives being backed.
