and they didnt let people place bets so there were errornous prices..but u couldnt back or lay so noone gains an advantage?

General point to the eternal optimists reading this thread....You'll have to wait until hell freezes over for any deluded refund claims you think you may have. When the site came back up for 5 mins earlier all markets had been settled as they stood.

I think it's totally crappy that you lost money because you couldn't trade out. But we're risking our money everytime we bet inplay on here. I think it's important everyone realises that.

to be fair this is actually quite minor.

I've known the entire site go down from 2-5pm on a saturday before. That was not a good day to be a betfair customer service employee.

Of course someone gains an advantage, those in a winning position have gained a 20 minute advantage

Me neither Darlo. Infact it saved me £5. I had £100 profit on draw/Dnipro, and £25 profit on PSV. I would have greened out totally by backing PSV as high odds but I wasn't able to

That was my trick. Had a great month just before my birthday. A f**king great month. Until a week before. And went totally mental.
