Arguing???? Like I said Rowan, lighten up. I've already got my dbs. I don't need a discussion of basic probability thanks. Later. |

Actually, you arrogant ****, 'my mind' is far from inane.
If you want to lay big teams at home, then stay in for the last 10 minute frantic scramble, where most of the goals are scored, because the price is 'wrong' by a few percent, go for it. And I NEVER overstake. That really is my last post. Learn some ****g manners, and goodbye. |

In fact, if you do then you're even worse for having a go when I'm clearly just stating the obvious. |

I was only having a go at you for putting your point in a manner that would make everyone think you weren't particularly nice.
I've no other point I wanted to discuss with you. G/L |

And I NEVER overstake. That really is my last post. Learn some ****g manners, and goodbye. hahahaha. This is amazing. What are you talking about "staying in"? Are you telling me you sometimes feel compelled to make slightly poor value bets because you're scared of not making an overall profit from all your bets on a match even though you haven't even overstaked? I just don't get it. If you don't think it's good value, why make the bet? Why should a previous bet on the same event have any impact on your decision at all? Just weird. |

Agreed mrfish. Ban the fans, close the club, demolish the stadium and salt the land!

OK Rowan, I give up you win. Just make another post to have the final word & let's leave it there.

wd sofaking on the lay and all the successful others who opposed us today.
the sort of game i was fearing. we started too slow and couldn't rise above some of the ugly stuff, especially in the first half. stoke defended well and we didn't test their keeper enough. the few opportunities we had we either chose the wrong option or just didn't show the necessary composure. i've seen games against stoke though when they've hard earned a point with heroics from defense and keeper, this was not one and i'm very disappointed that we failed to create more. anyway wd on the bet. |

Stoke proving quite resilient this season!

yes they done a job and fair play to them, i don't think we can claim we really deserved more on what we created.
very stop start and ugly first half though, we just couldn't get into any sort of tempo. |

Right. I'm sick of these arguments. Go on just make another post, so that you can have the last word. You guys need to lighten up and improve your communication skills.

Great post GhostDog. Shame about the two losing Liverpool-to-win bets you backed at 1.77 after 35 mins and at 3.0 with 12 mins + injury time remaining. Why did you suddenly think they were a good price to win? The price didn't even increase much relative to time-elapsed.

Stoke proving quite resilient this season! better explained as stoke even more negative than ever this season. good defence, no attack. 5 years in prem now, time to evolve a bit i reckon. |

Leo0nAHigh Rowan me owd china you seem troubled? You scouse I hate Liverpool. What are you talking about? I'm saying it was a shame about his 2 losers at 1.77 after 35 mins and his 3.0 loser with 12 mins left and I'm curious about why he made those bets. Are you simple? |
|
By:
loui you clearly havent watched us, we played half decent vs wigan and very competently last week against swansea, we ran rings around them.
you are struggling to accept we are doing well and using an outdated stereotype badly. sorry of liverpool bust your coupon but we wont be going anywhere |

You need to learn how to use Betfair, Rowan86.
If you are betting on Germany v San Marino, the best policy is to trade off and take profit. Anything can happen in football. |

leo, i dont back us as a rule. i give stoke credit 1st 3 years in prem for their attitude, just think they might have moved on a bit now. crouchy may as well have got a paper out to read 2nd half, he was so out the game. not sour grapes just getting bored with all these 0-0 games, and i know we,re not good enough to break you down. but these fans are paying good money to see these games. should be entertained a bit more. especially prices nowadays.

0-0 are massive anomalies for is just 3 have come against u boys away. check the stats if u r bored reckon we have the lowest amount of 0-0s since we got in the prem - but yeah 3 out of 4 at your place is a lot and obviously very frustrating for the home team

CJ70 You need to learn how to use Betfair, Rowan86. If you are betting on Germany v San Marino, the best policy is to trade off and take profit. Anything can happen in football. So what you're saying is, value doesn't matter sometimes? It can be worth making a bet that you think is bad value just because it will guarantee you that warm feeling of having made a net profit over all bets made on a match? I thought bad value bets were statistically likely to produce a loss long-term. Or is there a bonus prize for making a net profit on a match? I thought it was just about making a profit over all your bets on every event. |

Liverpool were about right odds imo - the guy who said compare the bet to tottenham was bang on the money

Anything can happen in football. Exactly. I've tried explaining to him but he's unwilling to learn. His type usually don't last long around here though unless they've got unlimited funds to lose. Yeah, I just can't get my head around this trading sh*t. You're just intellectual you guys. I don't get this part about how value suddenly doesn't matter and the laws of mathematics are defied. There must be a bonus prize for making a net profit on a match is there? |
|

but your right . stoke are there for the long term now. your established now.

In all fairness mate, with that attitude you might just as well back the Faroes against Spain and pile in again once the Faroes get an early goal. Any previous bet you've made on an event should have absolutely no bearing on any subsequent bet you make in-running. It's just another bet ffs!! |
