He's such a fool. Liverpool supporter, and always backs against United. With a punting record like his he really should be a forumite here.

not sure about bet of the season but its a good price imo,

Not again, please...

someone ttt the other thread ?? this forum is dead i need a laugh at derek again

over 2.5, perhaps you would like to put your picks
up, then we can have a laugh at you. |

What price does he think Tottenham should have been, as I've seen a few big ricks with prices 25% out. Is he saying Tottenham should be around 7/2, 4.5?
|
|
By:
Spurs are probably better than they have shown so far, they look like a team with a scoring threat, united got a pretty impressive record against spurs I think
5s seems a little big to me given that newcastle were 6s with a weakend team I guess you have to think would this spurs team beat this united team one in every 5 |
|
By:
I have the betting at 4/7, 9/2, 9/2.
|
|
By:
Spurs record at Old Trafford is truly abysmal.
No wins since 1989, 26 games ago |
|
By:
kenilworth 9t2 the draw, can you get a job with one of the firms, right price about 5t2
|
|
By:
I think Spurs have enough talent to beat Man U. But the fact that they've bottled it for years against United puts me off.
|
|
By:
atkins, probably more like 4/1 the draw, with Spurs 5/1,
Your 5/2 is no nearer though, but seriously It's the ManU price that is crucial, 4/7 therefore 7/4 for those laying. |
|
By:
Must be a trash publication? and all he is doing is speaking his readers' language.
Selling his punting soul for some bucks basically. I wouldn't bet on it that he thinks 5/1 is value let alone bet of the season. |
|
By:
If he had said bet of the season was Henrikh Mkhitaryan at 12/1 to score the 1st goal for Shaktar Donetsk against Nordsjaelland I think the readers of The Daily Trash prolly wouldn't give a fook. They prolly want to hear that 5/1 for Spurs to beat Man U is the bet of the season so all he is doing is giving them what they want. Can't blame him really. That's why he still in jounalism I guess
|
|
By:
in that case kenilworth you have to lay 4.3 on here if you make the draw 4t1
|
|
By:
dr atkins, the main thing is, as far as I am concerned, is the ManU
price which is apparently 4/7. If you want to split hairs over the draw, and Tottenham, be my guest, as i think think the ManU price is close enough to being right that unless it goes outside of 1.50 - 1.66 I won't be involved. |

someone ttt the other thread ?? this forum is dead i need a laugh at derek again * The only reason the other thread dropped off the chart was because Derek put together a good run of results and you couldn't take it. |

Slightly overpriced imo,no "bet of the season" though.....wouldnt touch it with a 30 foot barge pole attached to another 30 foot bargepole.

his 'bet against teams i hate' logic paid off handsomely on tuesday night!

He's a mug, but the World is full of lucky idiots who get promoted past their abilities. Muggovern is just a lucky scouser who was probably in the right place at the right time, got some breaks, got on TV and got his awful column in the mirror.
He's just a tragically unfunny man who is bilious in the extreme, a typical scouser really. Not funny at all, and not adult enough to do a professional job without his hatred of everything Manchester getting in the way. A pathetic little t**t. |

How many scousers have you actually met, and your comment is typical of the majority of people who haven't stepped out of their own town. I don't like McGovern either by the way.

Like a lot of the mancs on here. The Mcgovern thread stopped when he was churning out winner after winner, of course that's not what the monkeys wanted. It goes back up periodically after a couple of losers. Mcgovern bang on the money today - Spuds scream value against a very mediocre side. |

Well guys if you think 5/1 good theres 5.8 available on here now. WADE IN CHAPS
|

Fill those scouse wellington boots. I personally think Norwich at home far better value
|
|
By:
Indeed it is good value. Just need a strong ref & it's a glorious price and cover the draw alonside it.

Over2.5, very strong words about a person you don't even know.

Kenilworth why don't you tell us all what your connection to the RP is?
Fwiw the Spurs bet is by no means the worst tip the mcgovern mug has put up. Spurs were unfortunate in some of their early games and deserve to have more points on the board than they do. The opposite can be said of manU, who have not always looked totally convincing in their last four games, all of which they have won. I have actually put up the draw in my selections this week. The thing that puts me off backing Spurs for the win is the abysmal record they have there and the unwillingness of referees to allow away wins at Old trafford in the premiership. Mcgovern may well be an ass as the OP suggests, but not for putting up this selection imo. |

Rodan, I have no connection with the Racing Post.

Fair enough Ken, you're certainly keen to leap to the defense of their staff on here whenever they get some stick. The Spurs manU game is a really interesting prospect from a betting point of view. Taking the current standings of both teams into account I think it's a pity todays game isn't at WHL. That would make for a really interesting contest.

rodan, the above statement(s) tell me that your judgement is suspect if you allow such meaningless reasons to influence your judgement. |

"Rodan, I have no connection with the Racing Post."
Then why do you leap to their defence all the time? why do you care? |
