then when the bookmakers put out their prices you can compare yours to theirs. DONT bet on it early doors, just practice your pricing and check the results against your prices

so you see for example the difference between mine and biscuits stab at the City match. At this stage he would be backing City at my price of 9/4 and I would be backing Madrid at his price of 13/8 because they are the prices that we each would see as being value at those market prices (irrespective of who we think is going to win the match).

Exactly. Point 8 is the important one. Its all subjective u can analyse stats all day long. there is no logic.

1.7 Real etc, etc looks about right, though I find comparing clubs sides from different countries quite difficult although La Liga and PL champions among the easier pairings. Both sides have had a stuttering starts, but a tentative rating would have Real about a half a goal superior on a neutral venue. English leagues are more interesting. |
