After a brief look at tomorrow's games I'm going to place tomorrow's bet now, since I reckon the price will come in a bit pre-kick off.
3. Eskisehirspor to beat St Johnstone £15.04 at 1.36 St Johnstone aren't even a particularly good Scottish team - only managed to get into Europe thanks to Rangers' outright cheating over the years being finally exposed and Hearts winning the cup. Saints have got a good reputation for bringing through young managers but Steve Lomas hasn't impressed me too much, seems to be a bit of a doughnut IMO. Can't imagine he'd have the tactical nous to go out there and hold a team that finished 5th in the Turkish league, especially not in the middle of July - never been to Turkey, but I'd imagine playing football there in summer, even in the evening, isn't too much fun. Not to mention the fact Scottish teams are toilet away from home in Europe in general.  |

If it affects your decision the St Johnstone game isn't in play tomorrow - so if it goes belly up there's no escape. Still doesn't change my mind though. Eski down to 1.32 now.

I'm exactly the same when it comes to betting on Aberdeen - but admittedly that's maybe more to do with how bad we've been the last couple of years.
I'm sure Rosenborg will do the business tomorrow but they're the kind of team who's never far from a 0-0, usually when you least expect it. |
