No chance imo

By:
i can't decide if they are value
or whether Bayern are at 1.46 |
By:
You'll have Ashley Cole plus 3 mugs at the back for Chelsea. Bayern -1 is the bet for me
By:
to be fair Bayern did look very good against Madrid.
Chelsea not value here then? |
By:
why cant they win? I think they have a 40% chance of winning.
By:
not a prayer
By:
The only thing that will stop Bayern winning is if the pressure of a home final gets to them.
Chelsea have 4 first team regulars missing whereas i feel Bayern can cope without the guys they have suspended. |
By:
germans are so efficient i can't see them choking the home advantage aspect
By:
Chelsea have a 2/1 chance on my ratings
I don't think it is fully a home game for Bayern .Chelsea will have many times the fans of any Away team thats been there before, and the ceremonial aspect of the occasion and build up will dilute the familiarity aspect of home advantage. |

Likely Bayern line-up, with Rafihna also an option. Should have more than enough to put the chavs to the sword.
Neuer Lahm Tymoshchuk Boateng Contento Schweinsteiger Kroos Robben T. Müller Ribery Gomez |

By:
that defence looks dodgy. Does van Buyten not get a look in?
By:
Would you of thought they would have got this far ?
Would you think they would beat Barca over 2 legs ? would you think they could come back against Seville ? Therein lies your answer..... I think 5 is outstanding value |
By:
He's training again, last Saturday was too early, but he will play some part in this Saturday's final. Contento is a weak point.
By:
Seville?
By:
He means Napoli imo
By:
thought so. can chelsea do this Mr Presleyyyy?
By:
i think 1.79 is a very fair price on bayern i said theyde be about 1.4 after they won the semi against real. bayern will be harder to defend against and wont simply be the case of just parking the bus as chelsea did against barca because barca have a relatively slow build up so its easier to just sit back and stay in position. bayern are a far more explosive team and will be harder to upset because it will be more of both teams playing abit and with chelsea having more of the ball there will be more space in the chelsea half for bayern to operate. i can only see this going one way and thats with the trophy not leaving the stadium, fair play for chelsea for making it this far.

Chelsea have no hope.
By:
1.79 B.Munich & 4.9 Chelsea?....well I'd have to back Chelsea at those prices. OK it's at Bayern's ground etc but the value is still with Chelsea at present. If I was Chelsea I'd pick a strong team vs Blackburn on Sunday to hopefully get some confidence up after losing 4-1 vs Liv - if it's going well after say 45/60 minutes then protect the most 'valuable' 3 via substitutions - this keeps everybody nice and match sharp.

I would imagine everyone knows it is possible, but no one
knows if it will. |

By:
I really hope Bayern win but don't mind if Chelsea win

By:
If Newcastle finish 4th then i hope Bayern win the final.
If Arsenal/Spurs finish 4th then i hope Chelsea win just to see the seething amongst my mates/in the office etc as they get dumped into the Europa. |
By:
Biscuit, reading your last post makes me
feel so happy I have no connection with any PL side, especially the ones you mention. I couldn't deal with all that seething and hatred. |
By:
I would be a lot more confident of Chelsea's chance if Terry and Ivanovic were playing. Still, we will field plenty of talent and are by no means a write-off. I hope it is a great game to watch, unlike the Barca legs though.
By:
anyone who thinks it's impossible for chelsea to win is an idiot by default
By:
Chelsea can only win the way they survived
Barca. |
By:
by scoring two fantastic away goals?

Penalty shoot out against the Germans...
Oh dear. |
By:
i cant work out which chelsea goal i enjoyed the most; ramirez goal was technically superior and def better than anything barca did for the whole two games; but the torres goal took real courage, real bottle; and gave me enormous satisfaction. it's a difficult one - one to ponder me thinks
![]() |
By:
the torres goal meant nothing in football terms, maybe lost some people money backing barca though
By:
oh i think you'll find the torres goal meant a lot to everyone except barcelona and their followers
By:
no i just think it gave you some ammunition to gloat over and as its hard to come by have had to make the most of it. the torres goal meant nothing other than to people who were betting, barca needed to score and if they didnt score they were going out anyway hence the reason torres was the only player in the barca half with valdes.
By:
no idea what you are on about son, it was a fantastic goal enjoyed by millions around the world. it's not all about money, the torres goal was all about glory.
By:
and what a glorious display it topped off

was indeed a fabulous victory

The defensive problems Chelsea have i seriously cant see how Bayern dont win this match. Going into a final with two centre halves that wont have played in weeks. Have Cahill and Luiz even played together? Then will come up against one of the strongest attacks in European football. Gomez may need a few chances to score but he gets so many with the likes of Robben and Ribery.
I take in account that Bayern have defensive problems but not as severe as Chelsea. Bayern are also playing at home which has to be a big advantage. 5/6 PP cracking price imo. Happy punting. |
By:
also if chelsea do park the bus this time the opposition have a target man in the box which is what barca were crying out for
By:
Drogba is the one the Germans fear and he is flying look what he did to Ledley King and Gallas
