Biscuit - no need to be rude, is there? Seriously, try behaving like an adult when you first contribute - would you talk to someone in a pub that way?
Onto the point... You're right - I had it in my head that tobermory had said it, because he picked up my reply and continued a mature, logical debate. For that reason - the point still stands. |

City have been poor in their last few matches - and, crucially, poor at home. Look at their other home matches against the top sides, Arsenal and Spurs. They were close matches and certainly with the spurs game, they were lucky to win.
On the flip side, Chelsea cant defend away from home. I think I will back goals. Drogba is ready to terrorize a few more defences me thinks. |
By:
Chelseas defence looks leaky. City don't really concede. Wait for team news though. As stated, Savic and Kolo the clown at the back and hold your powder.

i agree TMO> lay Man City

really think its a game for a butchers first, can see city really buzzing, might just come out and blow chels away,gl
By:
There's little question that Man City are favourites, and rightly so. There's also little point in backing a Chelsea win imo - the best they can hope for is a draw.
City to win 2-0 for me. |
By:
as much as i hope city win a draw isnt a disaster, they would be 3 points behind united with a better goal difference, one of the "harder" games out of the way and united to play at home, i personally think a win is a must but mancini might be thinking how i am at the start of this post, anyway anyone who wants to lay a team with 19 straight home league wins is welcome to imo, for me no bet but i have enough interest in the match anyway...
By:
i think a win is a must hereand will be backing them. chelsea are a poor team i think silva and co could take them apart
By:
chelsea are a poor team
not since AVB's departure mate |
By:
Two clubs heading in different directions presently. 4.4 is MASSIVE
By:
bob there defence is poor mate. luiz is a walking disaster fat frank is done and 2 goals from torres does not make him the player he was. 3-1

Chelsea coming onto a game and City looking stale and out of sorts, surely that tells you all you need to know. The only thing that can save City's season is Tevez, he could fire them back to the top. As I have said previously, a fit and fresh Tevez being introduced at this point in the season could turn it around for City. I would go as far as to say, that if City don't play Tevez, they have no chance of winning the league at all.
They'll be lucky to finish 2nd. |
By:
"not since AVB's departure mate"
they've beaten Birmingham and Leicester (2 championship teams), laboured to a narrow win over Stoke, and beat Napoli but imo were fortunate there. Napoli could/should have put the tie beyond them early on at Stamford Bridge. Yes Chelsea have improved but they're still not exactly great. |
By:
1-0 v 10 man Stoke at that.
By:
Terry's omission is a worry. Luis is a clutz i agree. i like Cahill, however
By:
score prediction Bizzo?
By:
No idea, but i'll be laying Chelsea. I don't think they're improved enough to win here. As high_lander says, the stage is set for Tevez.
By:
A little bit too much being made of Chelsea's recent run of form imo. Wins against Leicester, Stoke and Brum?? The Napoli performance was their best for some time but away from home this season they have been very poor and with no Terry I still think they will struggle badly. The only thing stopping me from completely piling into City is the absence of Kompany.

City are the bet. It might be the one time where I'm so desperate for them not to win that I keep my powder dry. Chelsea haven't suddenly become formidable, they're ripe for picking, so the 2.0 on City which looks incoming is a great price.

putting a lump on City RMB?

This is why, come what may #ManciniMustStay. Would not enter fergie's head to do anything but go for the win in this senario. |

By:
I'm decided - I'm going in big on City.
In my mind, they should win this one comfortably. |
By:
MC were dire away against Swansea when they needed at least a point to keep up with MU. Their away form isn't great especially recently but they were hopeless against Swansea.
They might win today but they're definitely no evens shot. |

there at home not away

They've won their 19 home league games, with 13 clean sheets and the vast majority by 2 or more. I think evens is a very fair price.

RMB - big chance for you here to post a bet pre off. come on shy boy...
By:
Why are people so obsessed on here about posting up bets? It's an anonymous forum - posts about bets and stakes are meaningless.
By:
Ok.
Of course they're at home but some posters are saying you can more or less ignore their away form because it's always bad and they're going to play great now because they're at home. My point is that they playing poorly and their performance was especially rough at Swansea and that's at least partly how they should be judged. It's no evens shot. |
By:
My 3 bets:
Valencia - Zaragoza @ 1.29 Man city - Chrlsea @ 1.92 Villareal - R.Madrid @ 1.44 |

No evens shot?
I presume you're laying the proverbial out of it, then? |
